As an SNP member, I'm just here to count the galloping fannies (particularly those who fail to understand the Scottish legal system) and to remind posters of these three words: CONTEMPT OF COURT.

Fire in 👍

SNP member and you are calling others galloping fannies?!?!? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What is it they say about a fool and their money..

Pinknelly · 11/06/2023 21:27

What the fuck is a galloping Fanny? SNP twats just making up insults now. Well keeps you busy while you aren’t crying about the the total blow out of your shitty political party I guess. Good times.

TheHandmaiden · 11/06/2023 21:29

You don't get arrested if you are co-operative.

How many Prime Ministers of the UK get arrested?

That isn't a very nice word! Plenty other words you could have used. I hate what Nicola has done but we don't have to insult people.

That's just not true. Arrests have to be justified as a necessity, and it's not a simple as cooperating will entitle you to an interview under caution. Police may require the arrest for other reasons including taking fingerprints for use in forensics. Many other reasons as well.

As for a PM getting arrested, no one has stuck their neck out to make complaints that have stuck to the point of a court case. Yet.

Agree completely with this. We have different opinions and Nicola has been released.

Rainbowsandfairies · 11/06/2023 21:33

I mean everyone has different....

Pinknelly · 11/06/2023 21:34

Rainbows, twats? Is that the naughty word?

redfacebigdisgrace · 11/06/2023 21:35

@Nothingisblackandwhite unionist and right wing don’t go hand in hand you know?

Pinknelly · 11/06/2023 21:35

I’m think I’m missing the joke 😂

Rainbowshit · 11/06/2023 21:35

I was enjoying the downfall of sturgeon already but the crying of the nats is making this all the more delicious. 🤭

redfacebigdisgrace · 11/06/2023 21:37

Too good

Nicola Sturgeon arrested
TheHandmaiden · 11/06/2023 21:38

I assume the Scottish police will do this by the book - but I can't think of another political leader who was arrested except Jeremy Thorpe all those years ago.

TomPinch · 11/06/2023 21:41

Well, this is all very enjoyable. My mother thinks the sun shines out of Nicola Sturgeon's arse. When I said that the treatment of Alex Salmond (for whom I have even less love) was dodgy and had 'stiff political opponent' written all over it she suggested I was being misogynistic.

Scottish nationalists should also take note of how the Scottish Parliament and the House of Commons privileges committees treated the allegations against Sturgeon and Johnson respectively. In the Scottish Parliament the nationalists block-voted to clear Sturgeon. In the HoC, a Tory-majority committee has just ended Johnson's career because they put evidence before politics.

Pinknelly · 11/06/2023 21:41

I hope she gets put a cell with a serial sex offender. Who used to be a man. That’s horrific to read right? What a monster to post such a thing! Well that’s what she thought was ok for Scottish women so if that makes you uncomfortable don’t vote SNP.

ELCismyspiritnana · 11/06/2023 21:49

EsmaCannonball · 11/06/2023 20:36

You've got to admit, that was some long-term strategizing to make sure she and her husband could share the same cell.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

SmurfetteSalad · 11/06/2023 22:02

stbrandonsboat · 11/06/2023 15:38

Send her to jail to share a cell with a sex offender in a frock. I'm sure they'll have lots to talk about.

Right‽

DuesToTheDirt · 11/06/2023 22:15

Keitharingsbitch · 11/06/2023 19:55

Why do you all hate her so much please?

Trashing women's rights with the GRR bill. Refusing to include women's groups in the consultations. Promoting the idea that transwomen are really, truly, women and cannot be refused access to women's spaces. Refusing to say in public that Adam Graham is bloody obviously a man not a woman.

I used to like her, I thought she was competent and fair. But promoting self-ID for any men, even convicted sex offenders, who claimed to be women, completely changed my mind.

Nothingisblackandwhite · 11/06/2023 22:22

Hannahsbananas · 11/06/2023 21:09

Why did she have to have her collar felt to start the cooperation, in that case?

Not at all , she has been cooperating from day one as far as I know and I’m nit exactly a fan but I also do not think she deserves the with hunt

Rainbowsandfairies · 11/06/2023 22:27

Boris was arrested a few times- I don't think he was subjected to witch hunts though

He and his supporters would disagree, of course - wrongly.

Could we have some evidence of that because I am
not a fan of Johnson but I don 't think he has ever been arrested?

TomPinch · 11/06/2023 22:35

Is there some Scots law technicality in play here?

I'm not in the UK but here, like I think in England, it's not necessary to be arrested for the police to interview you. You can speak to them on an entirely voluntary basis. If the police think you might be guilty of an offence they must advise you of your rights or what you say subsequently may be inadmissible against you as evidence. Arrests only happen if the police need to speak to you and you won't cooperate.

Is there some Scots law rule that requires the police to arrest you even though you're willing to be interviewed?

TheHandmaiden · 11/06/2023 22:39

I think not. You can be interviewed in Scotland by the police on a voluntary basis.

Can't find any evidence of Boris being arrested. What is your source for this?
