Not before time, hopefully prosecuted n share a cell with isla bryson type.

I’m no fan of Sturgeon but this is a disgusting comment.

As an SNP member, I'm just here to count the galloping fannies (particularly those who fail to understand the Scottish legal system) and to remind posters of these three words: CONTEMPT OF COURT.

Fire in 👍

As a non SNP member Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Is it? Why is that then? Only poor women should have to share cells with men not middle class ex lawyers?

Why? It’s what Nicola herself wants for other women 🤷🏻‍♀️

berksandbeyond · 11/06/2023 15:02

‘Fail to understand the Scottish legal system’ being arrested means the same in Scotland and England

Yes - it means that somebody is innocent until proven guilty - something that most posters on this thread appear not to realise. And I am not an SNP member. Just someone who thinks that this thread is in very poor taste.

LizzieSiddal · 11/06/2023 17:19

I cheered when I heard. Her disgraceful attack on any woman (for some reason she didn’t attack men) who doesn’t believe rapist should share a prison with women, means I can’t stand her.

In fact I can imagine her and Johnson (I’m not suggesting he’s a rapist) sharing a cell. 😂

Why? Sturgeon thinks Bryson a woman, why shouldn't she have to share a cell with them?

FrostyFifi · 11/06/2023 17:21

I’m no fan of Sturgeon but this is a disgusting comment.

Tbf that is exactly what Sturgeon expected other women to contend with.

MsFogi · 11/06/2023 17:23

Oooh I am going to risk a bit of speculation - she may realise what a woman is if she gets to share a cell with a bloke who claims to be a woman.

Nae sympathy for you.

itsgettingweird · 11/06/2023 17:28

It's interesting when people comment that they hope she experiences what she's subjected others to - it's a disgusting comment.

It's like when a kid gets what they give out back. We tell them not to dish it out if you can't take take it.

It should be the same rules and standards for everyone.

What's good for the goose .........

But whatever we don't know what the outcome will be yet and if she's even guilty of anything.

redfacebigdisgrace · 11/06/2023 17:28

I’m Scottish - what the hell is a galloping fanny. Oh and @Trez1510 you sound slightly unhinged. Like most rabid Nats actually now I come to think of it….

LlynTegid · 11/06/2023 17:28

Let us await the outcome of the police investigation.

And wish for one into several current or recent members of the Westminster government.

DeLaVoomVoom · 11/06/2023 17:28

Wow, we've been living through corrupt times. I wonder who next?

DeLaVoomVoom · 11/06/2023 17:29

Macron?

LizzieSiddal · 11/06/2023 17:31

@DeLaVoomVoom Wow, we've been living through corrupt times. I wonder who next?

Matt Hancock, Rees Mogg and Nigel Farrage would be my wish list.

Marchmount · 11/06/2023 17:32

Touching to see how loyal/ delusional some SNP members still are to St Nic. Her and her loving husband thought they were untouchable and treated Scotland like their own personal fiefdom. The sanctimonious Scotland’s mammy character was played so well and hid the reality that she is just as morally corrupt and self-serving as the baddies at Westminster.

MrsTerryPratchett · 11/06/2023 17:33

I thought 'Fanny gallops' was feeling horny. Not being someone who isn't a fan of wee Nicola.

Now I'm confused because horny is the last thing anyone feels about this one.

Same. I’ve only heard “fanny gallops” in relation to fancying someone.

OP posts:
MySugarBabyLove · 11/06/2023 17:38

I think that all of this could signify the beginning of a political revolution worldwide.

The fact is that a lack of integrity is a pre-requisite to be in politics, but suddenly the world has had enough, and the politicians are starting to be held to account.

There has always been a lot of corruption in politics wherever you are, but now that corruption is starting to be recognised openly. I wonder where this will end.

AutumnCrow · 11/06/2023 17:39

I've only ever heard 'fanny gallops' on Mumsnet within the context of sexual attraction.

Why is the thread in poor taste? This is big news, and like other news items, people have different opinions, and are sharing and discussing them

UselessFecker · 11/06/2023 17:42

Phillip Schofield resigned even though he was totally innocent 🤣🙄

BinkyBeaufort · 11/06/2023 17:44

I'm not sure some people quite grasp the concept of fanny gallops. I've had them many times but never over any politician, let alone NS.
