What are the best TV Themes?

We've had a lot of lovely nostalgic threads lately which I've really enjoyed so I wondered what people's favourite TV themes are, both adult and children's TV.

I wasn't around for the original series and haven't actually watched it but the Black Beauty theme has to be one of the best. For some reason it makes me cry every time.

NYPD Blues....perfectly captures the feel and mood of New York in the 80s/90s. As I lived there then I can hardly bear to watch it as it makes me feel so nostalgic. Brilliant series too, don't think it gets the recognition it deserves.

Ah, yes, totally agree. NYPD Blue had some terrific writing and characters.

I always loved the Johnathan Creek theme, is it an actual song though?

Me and my husband are in the middle of watching all season of the x files and I looove it, especially the extended end credits.

Also Bad Girls and Frasier (I don't think it's too popular though 😆)

My boys like watching cuphead on Netflix and the theme for that is very catchy!

The Upper Hand theme tune takes me back to my childhood
