What are the best TV Themes?

We've had a lot of lovely nostalgic threads lately which I've really enjoyed so I wondered what people's favourite TV themes are, both adult and children's TV.

I wasn't around for the original series and haven't actually watched it but the Black Beauty theme has to be one of the best. For some reason it makes me cry every time.

Has anyone noticed how on some sitcoms/ comedies the end theme tune would be different to the one at the start. For example Bottom, one at the end was better.

So good, they named a band after it.

Chi Mai., the theme tune to The Life and Times of David Lloyd George.

Morse. I remember when the series ended they said Morse's first name was tapped out in morse code during the theme tune. Not sure if that's true though!

Yep, Soul Limbo. It was myringtone for years and is still used for Test Match Special on the radio.

All the old BBC sports themes bring back happy memories of my childhood. Grandstand, MOTD, Ski Sunday, show jumping.
