What obscure tv shows do you remember watching, but no one else really watched or remembers it so you feel alone?

I have a few. I used to love watching certain shows but no one I knew watched it. So it felt like I was the only one at times.

I give you: Captain Zep Space Detective. A children's crime game show/audience participation thing set on a space station where the audience dressed up as aliens and solved a different crime each episode.

I remember so many of these. I've got the books of Children of the Stones and Living in the Past but never saw the programmes. Remember Manimal, Young Americans, First Born (was this the same as Chimera?), Maelstrom, No Angels.

Secret Valley? Think that theme tune kind of went like that (and it was Australian)

There was a british early 70s tv show (comedy) set in a house and one of the characters was a harlequin. (Called Timothy?) Can't remember the name of it at all.

I remember Mr. Benn. The blurb in the Radio Times went "each week Mr Benn dresses up and has a new adventure". Amazed he hasn't been transed yet.

Also that one where the contestants had to stay awake, winner was the one who stayed awake the longest - the final two or three were made to lie in bed in the dark after they'd been awake for a week or whatever.

I loved Staying Alive @Marsyas - the reason no one’s heard of it is because it was in a Friday night, everyone was out. I don’t remember it having a supernatural side to it. I seem to remember one girl (not JH) being a bit of a stalker

There was series where a boy made a video game was paid a million quid.

There was also a kids series where a boy kept turning into a dog.

I remember Cover Up. Jon Erik Hexham was the fit guy. Died young. 😔

@ZIEVAR i think Lassie should be re-made or the original re-shown on tv, (especially as rough haired collies are at risk, apparently). I have a dog now, and whenever he barks for no apparent reason, we ask him if someone is stuck down the well…?! (He’s not a collie).

I loved SLOU. I recently rewatched it on Prime and it was brilliant. I had to skip the final series though because all the main characters had left.

I also loved a Channel 4 show called Sirens about ambulance/fire/ police crew. Richard Madden was in it and it was really good. They only made one series and I've never seen it repeated.
