Rubbish title but hopefully you know what I mean.

For me, those who spring to mind are:
Sir David Attenborough
Tom Hanks
Usain Bolt
Judy Dench

Honestly, anyone and everyone because how could you?

Snowflakes2 · 30/05/2023 23:14

Think he had some sort of mad episode but he's not like dodgy dodgy, well I hope not.

Hbh17 · 30/05/2023 23:14

Roger Federer
David Attenborough
Michael Palin

Surprised that someone mentioned Chris Packham - not only does he come across as rather unpleasant, but he is known to have very harmful views about country sports and seems to think it's fine for swathes of the rural population to lose their livelihoods. He doesn't understand the rural economy at all.

PrancerandDancer · 30/05/2023 23:15

Oh course, Sir David Attenborough

Also...
Emma Thompson
Ben Fogle
Dr Ranj
Maggie Smith
Ranger Hamza
Morgan Freeman

@pigalow27 sorry to break your heart, but a friend grew up with him and apparently he is a grade A narcissist and not a nice person. (My friend rarely has a bad word to say about anyone, and when they do it’s only when they are a really nasty piece of work).

SwordToFlamethrower · 30/05/2023 23:15

Richard Dawkins
Jeremy Corbyn
Robert Winston

I wouldn't be able to recover from those people being wrong uns

If we are talking about the discovery of immense secret sex scandals and abuse, I would be devastated if David Beckham was found to be part of one.

Eh? Have the noughties passed you by?

CurlewKate · 30/05/2023 22:41

To be honest, I'm still recovering from Rolf Harris.....

Me too.
I was so sad hearing he died. So sad he turned out to be a wrong un. So sad for his many victims.

I’d be shocked to discover that David Williams wasn’t a bad’un!

🤣 yep , he'll be bothering geese next !

TheHandmaiden · 30/05/2023 23:16

Being grumpy is not the same as being a predator or sexually demanding due to fame.

Being grumpy is a human thing. And forgivable

Keanu Reeves
Dawn French

Dawn French….. met her twice she’s rude , loves herself and only interested in talking to the men. Once I was working in a pub as a student in the 90s. More recently in a series she filmed in Devon - the villagers were extras and said she was awful . Sorry! I loved her too before then .

Blondey2023 · 30/05/2023 22:34

Noooo. I just don't see it, he's so devoted to his wife Rita too. I'd only believe it if there was hard evidence.

Oooooohhh boy there are a lot of rumours / blind items about him cheating with younger women.

I’d say Dave Grohl but I have it on good authority that he’s a fantastic egg.

RedToothBrush · 30/05/2023 23:21

Tim Burgess

Sensibletrousers · 30/05/2023 23:22

My childhood / teenage loves included Phillip Schofield, Rolf Harris (age 5 wrote to Jim’ll Fix It to draw with him. Never got it. Double phew, also trauma), Michael Jackson, R Kelly…… no wonder men terrify me and I don’t trust them.

Same as a PP, nobody would shock me any more.

midsomermurderess · 30/05/2023 23:22

Keanu Reeves. And, this might be a bit niche, Noddy Holder.

@piefacedClique I met Bear Grylls at a Cubs event a few years ago and he was vile. He was so rude to the cubs who had stood for hours in torrential rain and wind waiting to meet him. He was hours late but gave no apology or explanation. He couldn’t have been less interested in being there. There were a lot of tears and disappointed children that day, and he has been held in contempt in this house ever since!

I've not heard good things about Bear Grylls. Sadly.

Steve Backshall by all accounts is a really good bloke. If he was a wrong un it would upset me greatly.

SapphireSeptember · 30/05/2023 23:23

Alan Rickman (although it's been a long time since his death and so far nothing terrible has been said, so I believe he was lovely.)
Amy Lee. I'd be gutted. Ben Moody was an arsehole, but I knew that years ago. Tried a bit of DARVO on Evanescence fans as well, several years after Amy revealed he'd abused her. My ex-H bought it, but I didn't, because I thought he was talking rubbish. My ex was never an Ev fan and he doesn't like Amy Lee either (probably because she was my first love and always will be!)
JK Rowling. Ex-H and Ex-MIL don't like her either (sensing a theme here) but I bloody love her!

Zone2NorthLondon · 30/05/2023 23:24

Emma Thompson and her partner Greg Wise are both charming, self effacing and funny. Know Greg
