Glastonbury line up is a nightmare!

At first glance I was relieved as it looked like there were no acts I needed to see appart from my future husband Jarvis. And it was perfect, about five acts I wanted to try and see but no urgency. Elton obviously is one. I will not be in tip top condition this year and Im grateful just to be going but, honestly looking a it properly its full of clashes. Kelis V Artic Monkeys V Wizkid!

What days are you going?
Lana Del Rey, Arctic Monkeys, Magic Numbers, Beth Orton would be my essentials and then Central Cee, Digga D and Stefflon Don

Glastonbury is alway hit and miss. I much prefer Isle of Wight festival. Been going regularly for years. Never disappoints

Gotta be honest, I think it looks shite.

I'd spend most of the weekend in Arcadia. Only a handful of others I'd want to see and certainly not the supposed headliners on the pyramid.

Not feeling the Glasto FOMO this year!

Well, for a start, we dont go for the line up. Its just a bonus. Theres brilliance to be had in the circus. I always like to see about five bands and its never about the headliners on the main stage, Im more likely to be at Hot Chip in John Perl or Sparks up in the Park.

we have been going for twenty years the same ten people give or take. This year only four of us managed to gettickets so it will be different. We have ramped up the glamping as I havent been well and cant rough it. Not that we have since we hit about 45😂. Im looking forward to some healing in the healing fields. And Cat Stevens in the sun.

None of my relatives are there this year, no point in going.

(I've never been, have seen them elsewhere, don't do camping anyway(.

I've never been. DH might want to watch the odd bit on the telly if there's someone he likes, otherwise it will pass me by entirely.

I went last year, not missed one since the 90s. Totally didn't feel it last year. Definitely not got FOMO this year.

Glastonbury has sold out to The Man. Far better when it was free and you got a bottle of milk as well and then could head to the Stonehenge festival afterwards.

There’s only so many bands that will be available to headline and do it for a lower price. I don’t think it’s Glastonbury’s fault.

Glastonbury is pretty much my worst nightmare so I've never been, but if you are going, I strongly recommend Vintage Trouble on the Avalon stage on Saturday night. They are such a fun band live - really really entertaining.

I had no idea who was playing this year. TBH I wouldn’t bother with any of them OP, far more interesting stuff to do at Glastonbury than going to see a band. Elton John can’t sing any more so I’m wondering if he’ll mime…

I would see Artic Monkeys as that would be goof when you have had a drink. Def Lizzo, Lana, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Maneskin, Warpaint, Blondie, QOTSA, The Hives, Lil Nas X, Candi Station, Kelis, Chvrches, Hot Chip, Fatboy Slim

I didnt like Glasto and am not a festivals person but I would not be mad at that line up if I was going and had the energy!

Terrible line up. I do like Masie Peters but surprised she’s on the pyramid stage. I used to watch her YouTube channel before she had a record deal. Has she hit the big time now?

Isnt it wonderful how we all like different things? The line up isnt shit at all theres something for everyone and its so much more than the headliners. You literally could go between the circus tent, the cinema and the acoustic tent all weekend and never touch the main stages.

i know exactly where I will be come Thursday night https://www.mixcloud.com/purplerave/rob-da-bank-tayo-present-purple-rave-october-mix/ and at the Wham! Singalong the next night. I hope I have many more Glastonbury's to come. I will never tire of it.
