Here... 😔
She was such a hard working reporter especially during Covid. She was my go to person to listen to what was going on.
45 is no age.. Her poor family... 😔 😔 😔

I know she was great, fantastic reporter and so young. Her poor family Flowers

Gtsr443 · 27/05/2023 21:19

She was an excellent reporter. This is very sad. Far too young.

Iwantcakeeveryday · 27/05/2023 21:19

That is so sad, way too young, peace and strength to her family

MrsCarson · 27/05/2023 21:33

Sad she was too young.
I was fascinated by her hair during covid. It had a life of its own.

So sad, 45 no age to die 😥 her poor family.

EachandEveryone · 27/05/2023 22:53

How awful the news reader was visibly devastated. She was so full of life and passionate about health. Her dear family ☹️

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 27/05/2023 22:56

I was so sad to read this on Twitter earlier. So awful - she was a brilliant journalist. It sounds like it must have been no time between diagnosis and passing, and she was still reporting earlier this year. Absolute tragedy.

Mrsjayy · 27/05/2023 22:57

Oh that's a bloody shame, you always trusted her reporting and listened to what she had to say.

ssd · 27/05/2023 22:58

Very very sad. RIP.

Really you show an amazing capaticity for ignorance.

Ryah76 · 27/05/2023 23:43

This news really shocked and upset me. Like others have said, 45 is no age. Thoughts with her family

TennisWithDeborah · 27/05/2023 23:47

Sad news. Too young.

What an unnecessary comment. Would her death at 45 be less sad, if she had been a smoker?

45 is no age, very sad for her family.

Geraint Vincent concentrated v hard to read the announcement on ITV news.
you could tell everyone there loved and respected her and were so sorry.
i heard it on the radio earlier but did not realise who she was until i saw the picture.
she seemed so vibrant, always well informed, an excellent communicator.
condolences to her family.

pnutter · 28/05/2023 00:16

My sister has lung cancer and has never smoked

Haywirecity · 28/05/2023 01:47

I read this earlier and I was so shocked. It doesn't seem any time since she was on the telly every night giving covid reports.

She was so good at her job. I'm really sorry. Condolences to her family.

Less than one page and already shitty posts. Am not going to grab quotes from them as they often get missed from deletions.

I appreciated her reporting during lockdowns etc. condolences to her family, such a young age.

The public knows lung cancer is frequently caused by smoking.
It is also caused by other factors.
No ,it's not in the public interest to know if an individual's lung cancer was caused by smoking or not.
