What would you eat?
Total Fantasy Disclaimer : Like say food had no nutritional requirement and was neutral in it's effects, and only existed to give us pure energy. We would also have to assume all foods gave the exact same energy so no hierarchies could exist. Grin

I personally would eat peanut butter toasties often, not that I don't partake already, but much more often. I would also eat a LOT of Tesco Finest Pizza. I'm not to fussed about sugar but I would gorge on the savouries; cheese, fancy oily crackers and mayo.
I also love salad and would likely compliment this with a mountain of frites or sausage. & OMG SAUSAGE ROLLS!
Maybe I would eat like Elvis, for a short time.

In reality, I love my food and enjoy it, but for health reasons I do opt for moderation, and would probably get tired of excess pretty fast.

Aaaand another disclaimer - this is lighthearted fun.

Curry with enormous fluffy naan breads
Chocolate fudge cake
Cheese on toast
Buttery mashed potato

Kyse23 · 27/05/2023 17:42

Pizza
Cake
Strawberries
Chocolate
Milkshakes
Ice cream

Interestingly if someone was cooking for me I would change all my preferences and go with stuff like
Halloumi salad
Tom yum soup
Roast chicken dinner

Dacadactyl · 27/05/2023 17:44

I would eat loads of pringles and other crisps

The rest of my diet would stay the same. I'm slim but don't eat as many crisps as I'd like.

Nachos with all the dips, sliced chillis and cheese melted piled up on top followed up by many, many cakes of all varieties.

In reality though, after four days pigging out on junk at Christmas I long for fruit and healthy things. So I'm going to have to say I'd end up eating a balanced diet.

WinterCarlisle · 27/05/2023 17:45

Curry —- sooooo much curry
crisps
hummus
lovely cheese
Loads of chocolate

DelilahBucket · 27/05/2023 17:45

Pastry! I try to avoid it because it's so ridiculously high in unsaturated fat, but I love pies and pastries. And cheese, ALL the cheeses!

LongLiveGoblingKing · 27/05/2023 17:47

Cinnabon cinnamon rolls
A cheese board
Vietnamese coffee with loads of condensed milk
Warm bread with real salted butter

I'm currently on weight watchers and these are the foods I wish I could pig out on

Boxes and boxes of expensive Belgian chocolates

Kebab and chips

Chinese takeaways

Chip shop chips

FortyFacedFuckers · 27/05/2023 17:48

Cheese!! 🧀 With pretty much every meal!
Pizza
Macaroni cheese
Cheese toasties
Cheese & crackers

You get the idea

StopFeckingFaffing · 27/05/2023 17:51

Basics of my diet would stay the same but I would have a pudding after dinner every day and a slice of cake mid morning

I would have a box of naice chocolates on the go all the time and eat 3 or 4 whenever I fancied

In hot weather I would eat ice cream every day (2 big scoops of whatever I fancy)

Breakfast, lunch & dinner I would continue with same things I currently eat

Zarataralara · 27/05/2023 17:52

Scones with jam and the thickest cream imaginable.
Cheese for every meal.

Choc fudge cake or pudding with cream
mixed merry puff pastry pie with cream or custard

Sweet chilli chicken pizza
Crisps
Curry
Chips
Nachos
Dauphinois potatoes
Chicken
Chorizo

And all of the above washed down with lots and lots of Pinot Grigio.

I’m very much a savoury girl!

N0tANOoDl3He4D · 27/05/2023 18:02

It would depend - I feel physically healthier or unhealthy depending on what I eat - would my feeling that way be affected?

If I'd still feel different, I'd eat as I do. If not, I'd ditch the veg I'm not bothered about and never touch a salad again.

ThePersistenceOfMammories · 27/05/2023 18:09

Tartiflette for dinner every night. I don’t think I’d ever get sick of it.

toast

With full fat Coke or frappes to drink.

NiceSausage · 27/05/2023 18:29

No, in this fantasy food couldnt make you gain/loose weight or feel any kind of health effect, just pure energy. Taste and texture would be everything!
In this case someone living on bakewell tarts and nutella could never have an adverse effect!
