Her husband will keep her in TV work I'm sure, but I suspect in the next few days she will release a statement about leaving This Morning and I doubt brands will be clamouring to sign her to represent their brands. She must have enough money to cut her losses, retreat back and find another line of work.

So who goes down with Phil (no pun intended)? Everyone appears to be distancing as quickly as possible but surely the 'no one knew' defence has to be tested? The problem I feel is that it isn't really an investigation simply asking someone if they are in a relationship and ending it there; surely there has to be more?

I think Holly needs to take a few months off and resurface in new roles.

I would imagine that the fact he was quick to describe the relationship as ‘legal’ is a cover up when maybe when it started it was illegal???

I still think there must be more to come. Phil has not exactly clothed himself in glory, but I feel the response is somewhat disproportionate.

Overall, I think TM needs a re-set. They need to take it off the air until the autumn and then rebrand it with new presenters. Holly should not be a part of it.

@Haywirecity EH & RL & Rylan all did leave over it so they're fine. Can't comment on Alison as wouldn't have a clue if she even overlapped with Phil as I got the impression that Holly only got friendly with her recently as Alison is clearly on the rise & PS struck me as the kind of person who would look down on AH, so I've no idea.

Holly on the other hand was a simpering sidekick rock for PS at best and a protective enabler at worst.

I really liked Holly on TV but do feel very sickened by the whole thing now. The executives at ITV are the ones who need to go IMHO as they must have known and let it happen anyway.

In all honesty, I think they only way This Morning can survive, is for Holly to go, not to mention Martin Frizell. (Incidentally, isn’t he married to Fiona Philips?)

Alison did the off site Movie interviews or silly outside broadcasts, shouting at Meghan on her first public appearance type thing. I don't think she was in the studio to know what was going on at that time.

I think it was BLM during the pandemic that changed things, though to me she isn't a diversity hire she was just not recognised earlier.

PS strikes me as the vindictive type - he won’t go quietly and will be happy to drag others down with him.

Eamonn Holmes has said a lot. Where did he left over it? Eamonn, Ruth and Rylan all praised and congratulated PS for coming out. Why would they have done that if they'd left because of him and his behaviour?

And as for Rhino.. You seem to be very, very down on TV execs and prone to the odd conspiracy theory? As I said, the industry attracts narcs and psychopaths but they are on all levels not just execs. In fact, I'd go as far as to say they are way more frequent on the lower rungs.

Still can’t get over Holly’s ‘shingles’ the other week. We’ve all forgotten about that with everything that’s happened since. What was that about? Why take a week off just to come back and sit beside him again? I think that was the worst thing she could have done. She could have at least made it appear like she distanced herself the second she heard about him not reporting his brother but to come back and sit there, then release a statement saying the sofa won’t be the same without him and now act like you’ve suddenly just found this out 🤷🏼‍♀️ It was obvious the situation was going to get worse so I really don’t understand how else she thought it was going to go. I think it will take a lot for her to quit this morning given she was willing to go back there even though she clearly didn’t want to. I can’t help but feel sorry for her but she’s dug herself so far in this hole now and I don’t think any of these PR people have helped matters with the advice she’s clearly been given

I don't watch daytime TV but amazingly I know who all these people are and what they look like. Just shows how pervasive it is. As for what is happening now, I have no idea about what is going on, what is right, what is wrong and how it will all pan out. I do think that there is more to come out into the light, but from who and about who I have little clue. Just hoping it is not going to be along the Savile and Harris lines.

2019 DW apparently reported PS and is now claiming he left because his complaint wasn't taken seriously.

In 2020 he reported how stunning and brave PS is.

In 2021 he claimed he left itv because he was silenced about Meghan Markle 🙄
