I agree something went on with him and his brother when they were younger. Someone I knew years ago- his brother went to prison for sex offences against children. The person I knew was shocked but not in the right way. There was something very anxious about it.... and he was arrested for sex crimes against children 18 months later. It came out in court that their stepfather had sexually abused them from about 10 years old and their mum had covered it up. The stepfather also ended up in prison. There definitely is often a sexually abusive background if there's a trend of sex offending in a family

The rumours about the runner have been going round ever since PS came out - the theory being that his hand was forced and made the announcement to get ahead of the story.

His statement and the choice of words about it not being "illegal" is very pointed. It implies even to the casual observer that the age gap is significant. I'm not sure it was a sensible move, because it immediately opens up questions as to exactly how big the age gap was - and a few clicks takes you straight into the alleged backstory.

One poster on another thread (with a legal background I think) suggested that it's not a superinjunction that's in place - it's an NDA with a payment attached to it, and that it may be about to come to an end. If so, then the timing of this statement is interesting, as it comes across as a preemptive move. I wonder if the other party is speaking to the press?

This might be useful to read. I guess that ultimately you might want to break a legal agreement (opening yourself up to being sued but not prosecuted) if there were good reasons to do so. I've genuinely no idea if this is relevant or not in this particular situation.
