Is anyone else expecting a pair of stockings and a basque to appear over the top of the screen

ShakeYourFeathers · 06/05/2023 11:48

The screens are lovely. Wonder who designed/ made them. And specifically for today or are they antique

BarelyLiterate · 06/05/2023 11:48

CatMattress · 06/05/2023 11:47

Reckon Charles is having a crafty wee while that screen is up? Take the opportunity while it presents?!

I reckon Camilla has nipped behind the screens for a crafty fag.

BarelyLiterate · 06/05/2023 11:46

WTF? Why is he getting his kit off? This is bizarre.

He gets oiled by the Archbishop behind it. Can’t have the whole congregation watching.

BorgQueen · 06/05/2023 11:48

Are the young soldiers holding the screens closing their eyes so they don’t see through ? Perhaps their faces would melt like on Raiders of the lost ark 🤣

MidgeHardcastle · 06/05/2023 11:48

Such symbolism. As an atheist I'm finding it very interesting nonetheless.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 06/05/2023 11:48

oh my goodness, so did we
now either you’re our neighbour or they’re out in force because they know people are home

cakeorwine · 06/05/2023 11:48

All a bit archaic and out of place in today's society.

TheLoupGarou · 06/05/2023 11:49

Charlotte's wee tiara is gorgeous.

Butitsnotfunnyisititsserious · 06/05/2023 11:49

oh calm down. We can all see he’s drugged and been trotted out. They should keep the kids out of it if they don’t want it commented on.

For god sake. He's not drugged, he can sit down for an hour.

Inadvertentlyspring · 06/05/2023 11:49

The choristers in dark blue are from Methodist college belfast, a state grammar that is non-denominational (despite being founded by Methodists obvs) if you look at their Facebook they have lots of posts about it.

40thmonarch · 06/05/2023 11:49

Omg sensational

ApolloandDaphne · 06/05/2023 11:49

New gold robes!

Appleass · 06/05/2023 11:49

I am so proud to be British today, very emotional too.

DysonSpheres · 06/05/2023 11:49

The choir music is amazing.

FreezyWater · 06/05/2023 11:49

I was half expecting a full magic trick there. Poof! He's disappeared 😂

Penny is still holding that sword...! My arms would be toast.

I see she went for flat shoes not heels!

UndercoverCop · 06/05/2023 11:50

@butitsnotfunnyisititsserious I'm just reporting it now, I have a child roughly the same age and I'd be livid if someone was commenting in this way , it's disgusting.
