What happens this afternoon then? is that it now?

Just wondering if we’ll see George smile at all today

MushMonster · 06/05/2023 13:14

The music was great.
And the parades. Great start all together!
They look great.

Spottycarousel · 06/05/2023 13:15

There's a bit on the balcony, and maybe a fly past (weather dependent).

Ah yes, we have her on BBC now.

I wonder if we'll see less horsemanship from now on. The new royals seem less in to horses than the late Queen and Princess Royal.

Yeah, William rides, but don't think Kate does.

Not sure about their kids. Obviously Zara, I suppose Edward can, but you never really see him on a horse. His daughter does carriage riding, just like Prince Philip.

Casuaala · 06/05/2023 13:15

Apparently there's a balcony appearance at 2:15.

Today would be an excellent day for Putin to launch an invasion of the U.K. Our entire military is prancing around central London wearing silly hats.

uniresearch2023 · 06/05/2023 13:15

I wonder how many of the people marching in the parade are going home later with horse manure all over their shoes and trousers... 🤔

SoupDragon · 06/05/2023 13:16

The sheer organisation for this is just mind boggling.

Wills · 06/05/2023 13:16

Did the bbc presenter just say that William and Kate recently visited Wales and stayed in a B&B?

Casuaala · 06/05/2023 13:17

I know they can ride, but William, Edward etc never seem as keen to be on horseback.
I guess Zara doesn't have the military background or position.

The princess of Wales is apparently allergic to horsehair, so riding would not be the ideal pursuit.

Yep...DH asked if they would have looked under the mattresses and checked the top of picture frames like they do on four in a bed!

I honestly did hear that but couldn’t quite believe my ears…

I was just marvelling at the horse which is carrying a drummer. Horse of steel that one!
