Crocheted post box royal toppers

There were a lot of these around for last royal beano and they were remarkably cheerful. Anyone got any photos of current ones? Or are they few and far between? I've seen some on tv but none in real life.👑

They do get damaged or stolen but the plucky makers keep calm and carry on! We've got a couple locally although not royalty-themed, unless they've been changed. I must check

I'm on the topper page on Facebook - you have to be careful with dangly bits as Royal Mail will remove a topper if they can't get the door open/closed. I've just started mine and it'll be out in a few months

I think it's a lovely idea and very clever. What I would like to know is do the people making them just pop it on a box of their choosing or is there someone organising what goes where.

I have made these in the past - knitting not crochet. We all mostly do our own thing, some areas have a small group coordinating boxes in a village or area. But mostly it’s just individuals. This was my Remembrance Day one.
