What colour is your bedroom?

Looking for ideas.

Not long moved into our new house and our bedroom is a white box (4.2 x 2.7). The previous owner white washed the place before putting it on the market so we're working with a blank canvas.

We have new bedroom furniture being delivered at the end of the month and want to have the room recarpeted and painted before it arrives.

Please help me decide on a colour scheme.

Bright sunny yellow with wooden furniture and white or cream beddi

Pale blue with white wooden furniture and minimal 'stuff'. I love it every time I walk into it.

This is the bed and bedside tables I've ordered.

I like light and bright as opposed to dark and cosy. I also like a minimalist sleeping space but don't want it to look bare.

The bedroom has built in wardrobes, wooden, painted white. Still need to order a light fitting, bedside lamps and window blinds.

I prefer carpet to hard flooring in the bedroom but haven't chosen a colour yet.

I've got that in my bedroom. I love it. I'm thinking of painting the whole house in it. It's neutral but not flat or cold.

Mine is purple and cream, with one feature wall with a snazzy printed wallpaper.

It was a quick job when we moved in thinking "we'll sort it once the rest of the house is done". That was 6 years ago now!

But I do kind of like it, it's calm. It dulux hessian in matt and our furniture is the, typical bedroom set, ikea malm drawers and bed in "oak". We have our bedding and curtains in a grey colour set with dark grey and green pillows etc.

Looking back I'd definitely have done it the way you are and decorate first. It always seems to get bumped down to the end of our to do list.

We have valspar wool white great if you like the minimalist theme it’s a warm off white, I’ve paired with foliage really and neutrals for bedding

I have very pale pink walls, white furniture, grey bed and carpet with grey gold and white accessories!
I absolutely love it ☺️ So fresh and clean, I feel like I can breath easily in there!

I have a rainbow themed bedroom it is the calmest and happiest room in my house at the moment (my house is a ongoing work in progress) and I like it very much it is much less stressful than the grey and black the previous owners had, carpet is a sort of light champagney colour

Hessian coloured walls, cream furniture, dark green curtains with a gold leaf print, cream lace bedding, botanical style prints with black frames.
One pale green leaf pattern rug, another baby pink rug, pale green wingback armchair with leopard print throw and pink cushions, pink, green and gold cushions on bed, leopard print side lamps (sounds like a complete hotch potch but I like it 😁)

Eddy it's a farrow and ball light green but has some depth.....i love it so calm .but also fresh! ....have a mixture of navy. pink touches ....white furniture...mainly white bedding ...room is south/east facing so light very strong....

My whole house is a pale grey.
White furniture.
I give it colour with the duvet. Currently mustard yellow

We’ve kept ours slightly off white but have original art work and then one wall (headboard) is wallpapered

I have one wall papered with floral paper in pink green and cream and the rest is almond white

I have a gray furniture and sage green bedding with a cream throw , and patterned sage green cushions

A blue/greyish here. We have the same colour scheme through much of the house.

Mine has been pale mauve for ages, sometimes looks warm pale blue depending on light. Will be soon repainting it and will try to look for a similar shade as find it very calming.

Purple with a threadbare purple carpet, a white duvet set and a purple quilted throw over the top. Dark purple curtains and light shade. White and purple flowers in a vase next to the bed (from our wedding).

Mine is a pale, slightly purple tinged, sky blue on walls and ceiling , with cream woodwork - it feels like a summer's day. It's the third bedroom I've painted that colour, I just love it. I've also got a cream lace roller blind that the sun filters through making dappled shadows, it's so pretty. But it needs replacing and John Lewis don't do that fabric anymore.

Black on all walls. Sounds awful but it looks amazing

Pink. It's horrible. I hate it. I chose it and it's some wanky Farrow and Ball colour that didn't seem especially pink (not this sad frosted lipstick shade, anyway) until it was several coats on.

Next time I am just going with cream.

A very deep charcoal, almost black, I think the colour was called Domino. With fresh white trim. It's so cosy and really highlights the greenery outside the window.
