Where would you go?

Was talking to my DP last night, and I said that my choice would be North Wales because its my absolutely favourite place and I dont think I would ever get bored of it.

Either near Aviemore or Kyle of Localsh

Tricky one. Probably the Peak District; there is no where else quite as pretty as Derbyshire Peaks.

Cornwall

We've had a caravan in Dorset, near Poole and Weymouth, for 20 years and go 3 times a year at least.

KnickerlessParsons · 30/04/2023 10:16

Pembrokeshire or Swanage

Yorkshire.

Northumberland. Alnmouth and Bamburgh have lovely beaches! The bookshop in Alnwick, all the history, and the dairy farm that sells delicious ice cream.

I love Pembrokeshire, we are going this year but it would have to be North West Scotland- I could go there and see the lakes, mountains and coast forever more.

Sleepthief · 30/04/2023 10:20

North Devon

Same as you op, Snowdonia and the surrounding area. Shame the weather can be so hit and miss though.

London....for all the culture. We live in rural south west Wales (although we're originally from the Hampshire coast) and I really wish we'd bought in London when we had the chance. So for me - who's had my fill of countryside/beaches - it would be a cultural holiday going to as many galleries and museums as possible, on repeat.

MintyCedric · 30/04/2023 10:35

Yorkshire…going back for my third visit in 6 years in July.

I live in a seaside town and am not a big hot weather/beach person.

Yorkshire has the countryside, culture, big cities and beaches if you want them. I’d wanted to go for years before I made my first visit and came away knowing I’d found my spiritual home.

DoggosAloud · 30/04/2023 10:39

We bought a house in Cornwall as we were spending so many holidays there. Definitely our favourite place.

Is keep quiet about that if were you. It's not a very PC thing to do.
