Me... daily in summer and a couple of days in winter, unless something makes me hot.

I change mine daily i have a small lidded bucket I put them in at the end of the day then hand wash them Saturday morning.

I am an E cup and even if I don't feel I smell sweaty I notice it on my bras. Hence I change daily.

BiscuitLover3678 · 24/04/2023 19:35

Every day but only because I am actually sweaty and gross every single day. I’m running after a toddler all day so need to.

In my twenties it could be every few days.

Bluelightbaby · 24/04/2023 19:35

i go through two bras a week unless Ive really sweated

BiscuitLover3678 · 24/04/2023 19:36

ImAGoodPerson · 24/04/2023 19:10

Every day?? I had no idea you were supposed to change it that often. I'm not sure that's necessary.

i wish I didn’t have to! Bras are so much more expensive.

AlwaysGinPlease · 24/04/2023 19:38

Every day. I have a lot of bras. I love buying them 😊

Kranke · 24/04/2023 19:39

If I’m working from home I don’t bother wearing one. Have switched to crop tops now, so unless I’m doing sports or getting sweaty, I wash them every 3 wears or so.

Yep, I am a 34GG so very few places do cheap ones that fit, I do alternate between different colours but definitely don't wash after one wear. In the 2 days a year its really hot I might do 😂 I don't sweat much really.

I am a bit crap as definitely don't change night time pj's every day, I often wear pjs/loungewear when working from home and will change that daily but bedtime pj's I don't.

This

Me too.

Oblomov23 · 24/04/2023 19:42

Twice a week.

Notellinganyone · 24/04/2023 19:45

Mine are £100 a pop as am large of nork. I have to hand wash them so change far more rarely than people on MN would probably approve of. TBH the mostly smell of Jo Malone which I spray liberally every morning.

pippapipps · 24/04/2023 19:46

I wear a bra twice so I change it every second day, typically wearing one for about 8-9 hours a day as I can't wait to throw it off in the evening I find them uncomfortable

devildeepbluesea · 24/04/2023 19:47

MrsRinaDecker · 24/04/2023 19:12

Ummm… Blush I alternate between them depending on what I’m wearing, but I’d say they definitely get washed less than the mumsnet average!

Me too. They’re not dirty or smelly.

SpringNTing · 24/04/2023 19:47

I’m a bit of a clean freak with most things, but even I get 2-3 days wear out of a bra.

violetskypurple · 24/04/2023 19:47

Every day

DannyZukosSmile · 24/04/2023 19:48

Once a month.

stayathomer · 24/04/2023 19:49

There was a doctor on the radio saying it should be treated as underwear and changed daily as you sweat under your boobs-the two dis were agog, saying they do once a week (but both said they wore sports bras while working out). In the summer I sometimes have to daily but yes, I'm probably more once/ twice weekly/when it feels time

Shinyandnew1 · 24/04/2023 19:51

Every day-same as knickers and socks.

DyslexicPoster · 24/04/2023 19:53

Every few days but I air them in-between.

whatisheupto · 24/04/2023 19:53

Way less than I am going to admit to having read previous replies!

transformandriseup · 24/04/2023 19:54

3 times a week although at times in the past when money has been very tight I used to own just the one bra so went longer between washes.

MyEyesAreBleeding · 24/04/2023 19:54

CamsPaisleyCuffs · 24/04/2023 19:23

Every day. But I'm one of those weirdos that only wears matching bra and pants sets. Yes, even on days I'm not leaving the house and slouching around in a pair of tatty old joggers. Nice lingerie is my treat.

Everything goes in net bags on a delicate cycle. If it doesn't survive, it wasn't meant to be.

I always thought the net bags would protect the underwire but had one catestrophically come apart (causing machine damage 😭) and tear the bag to pieces, so I use a pillow case now instead. A fleece pillowcase is even better as its thicker. I tie a knot in the pillowcase itself, or use a hair bobble.

My 36gg/h boulder holders don't come cheap

YesterdayImadeTheEffort · 24/04/2023 19:55

I don't change it everyday, I usually have 2-3 knickers for each bra and wash the bra when the knickers are all worn and start another set.

Holy shit. Where do you buy them??? I buy panache envy on repeat as its the only one that doesn't aggravate my skin

LeefPeeper · 24/04/2023 19:56

weeks to be honest 🤷🏻‍♀️ they don’t smell so I don’t wash them

Catshaveiteasy · 24/04/2023 19:56

No idea. I'm not well endowed so unless they are sweaty or looking rather grubby I just keep going. Every so often I think maybe I should get a new one out and put the one I've been wearing in the wash. (I'm talking days / a week or so, not months or years btw!)

Same with sports crop tops- they are cut low under the arm so don't actually get that sweaty usually so I wear them a few times. I'm only going to get hot and bothered again pretty soon anyway! If it actually smelt, then I would change it.

Nowadays everyone generally seems to wash clothes far too often - it wears them out quicker and is not exactly eco friendly.
