After the death of Paul o Grady it occurred to me I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him before or after death- ditto George Michael
Other celebs I can think of are David Attenborough and Peter Kay
Are there any others?

He was caught speeding on the M25 as well - he'd had his shell illegally "souped up". Arrogant bugger took a bend too fast, hit a deer, overturned and cracked his shell. Studio put out that he flu, but it was an open secret that he was blind drunk on the beer from the studio slug traps.

Amazon, I think. Not the Amazon, just Amazon. She was an an absolute trooper but she didn't get paid much. You can see her back pair of legs wobble a bit precariously occasionally when she drops down too rapidly on a silk thread because the production team were distracted trying to sober Brian up.

Yes. He turned out Rin Tin Tin was quite an able spin doctor though.

He ended up helping Gentle Ben out of a good few sticky situations. Ben comes across as flawlessly gentle still, butter wouldn't melt and all that, but the truth is out there and one day it'll surface.

I'd never even heard of OJ Simpson till then. Couldn't see why something about a former NFL player was in the news over here. It'd be like some grisly scandal about one of the Match of the Day pundits being the number one story 24/7 for a whole year on every news channel in the States.

He got into a mead brewery once, I believe . . . and there was no way they could have a bee on set because of "allergies". 😕

Poor little Looby Lou. You could see by her eyes that she wasn't happy to have to jump into that basket with Andy and Teddy - and of course, the documentary (never shown; sh*t hot lawyers!) revealed why. My heart ached for her - she looked haunted.

Flowerpot Men weren't all they were cracked up to be either - and don't start me on Rag, Tag and Bobtail . . . 😦

Your comments on the rest are incredibly woolly, they certainly don't negate the popularity.

As for LL Cool J the fight was with Jamie Foxx so put him top of my list now!

No, Morph was a decent guy. Salt of the earth. But yeah, Chas was a complete arse.

I liked Tony. Always had a smile on his face. Never looked upset or angry if his paintings turned out shit. That said, he never put my drawing in the Gallery, so perhaps not quite so universally loved. And at least Bob Ross didn't insist on doing a fucking collage every week.
