Coming from another thread about CFs that was massively derailed, thread derailment is at the top of my list of CF behaviour on Mumsnet.
What is yours?

Women asking if they should leave their violent abusive lazy arsehole partner who they are pregnant from (again).

People who quote the whole the op to reply to it. It's CLEAR you're replying to the OP, that's pretty much the point of people posting in response!

I agree with this. I regularly name change AND alter story details a bit. Sometimes I have 2 kids, sometimes 3. Sometimes ages get changed by a year or two, where we live, what sexes my kids are, whether we have a cat or dog etc and it's just to throw off people who could possibly know me and recognise a situation.

I've yet to come across an actual reverse thread! Are they even a thing? I've seen lots of threads where people are asking if it's a reverse though!

Countless anti Trans threads started for the flimsiest of reasons.

when someone has a problem with their husband and someone replies "just leave him" as if its that easy?? to 'just' leave? idk why but it winds me up

Loads of posts deleted by Admin so the thread ends up full of holes and not making any sense - this post refers to a deleted post etc.

When people post their line eyes/pregnancy test photos and there is nearly always someone who jumps on the replies with 'this is my test this morning, can anyone see a line on my test?'

@Passmethecrisps there was a thread recently where a lady was anxious that her friends weren’t going to turn up for drinks as planned. She could see they had read her message but hadn’t replied and the time was getting closer. I felt sad and anxious for her but so many people were being so unkind “you sound like hard work.” The friends didn’t turn up and suddenly all the eye rollers disappeared

When a (usually female) poster starts a thread about a low sex/sex less marriage and how unhappy it is making her and then loads of replies about how much they'd love that situation!

If there are anti-trans threads 'all over the place' then report them. Women agreeing that sex based spaces should be preserved, sport, prisons etc isn't anti-trans, but this is difficult to grasp for some people, granted.

When posters suggest that the OP go out for the day and and leave the very young kids with their sleeping and very hungover dad so he can learn his lesson

I get the sentiment I really do, but would you really be able to just buggar off out the house leaving your young kids with with someone (dad) if you weren’t sure he was in any fit state to be caring for them and able to keep them safe??!!
