Do you buy your kids Easter eggs?

And if so how old are they?

Mine and nearly 2 and 4. I’ve never got them eggs and tbh I don’t really give them all that we get given. They get given so many 6+ each and they are only small. They get the odd one but they get so many. DH and I tend to scoff them instead… In fact I’m eating one right now.

Well of course we do. How would the Easter Bunny come otherwise?

Actually, no. You go by your own family values.

We are a Christian family and have no obligation to go with consumerist/secular values.

What denomination are you? We are Christian too and buy eggs as they symbolise new life etc. Most Christians I know buy Easter eggs.

Why would I think that consumerism/secularism should trump the most important Christian festival?

You think giving an egg will overshadow the resurrection? We go to church first and then our child was given her Easter eggs. It won't trump it. Each to their own though.
