He was only 46 and it’s just weeks after the group had announced they were doing a reunion tour 😞

It's so sad. I'm a similar age to the members of S club 7 and their songs featured heavily on student club nights when I was at uni. They'd get everyone on the dance floor singing along.

It seems that after S Club things weren't great for him. I also read there's been a lot of online trolling about his appearance since they announced the tour. Awful to think that may have contributed.

I don't think it's fair or appropriate to blame his ex girlfriend.

So sad, and awful news for his bandmates. S Club songs remind me of some really happy moments at uni, hens dos and weddings. I’m almost the same age as Paul as I feel so young still. Awful.

Shocked by this, so sad 😢

I saw some comments about his personal appearance compared to the other band members.
It would take someone very strong to be unaffected by those comments. Some people are vile 😞

A couple of these posts have been really over the line speculation wise especially those mentioning other people.

One of my long ago exes went to secondary school with Paul. I
was a little bit too old and a lot too goth to care about S Club but Don’t Stop Moving is surely of the catchiest tunes of all time?

Will be a bittersweet reunion tour now, for the band and the fans.

Agreed, it sounds like they had made peace and she is understandably devastated.

The internet has deffo brought out the worst in some people.

I thought Paul looked pretty good of late - the beardy silver fox look suited him, and while he’d undeniably gotten a chunkier than his S Club hey days so have legions of other men and women of the same age.

Me and my mates were thin as rakes back then, lived off roll ups and snakebite and exercise was dancing all night and walking home after missing the night bus.

Daily Mail have got papped pictures from Thursday and he looked relaxed happy and a lot more attractive than a lot of men in their mid 40s.

He had such a lovely, kind face. So sad seeing clips of him on the news 🥹

Seeing this has brought back the same feelings of sadness when I read of Darius' death. Another early noughties star taken too soon.

I remember feeling so sad for him when he was on Loose Women as he had no money and he was really down. He was saying how he had tried to be on loads of reality shows but no one wanted him 😟

This one got me… he was my fave back in the day, had a huge crush.. would watch their show just to watch him. I see him on Tv less than a week ago talking about the tour…. So sad 😞
