He was only 46 and it’s just weeks after the group had announced they were doing a reunion tour 😞

So sad. S club songs always full of positive vibes and energy had many nights out dancing to them and at butlins weekenders. RIP Paul

OMG how upsetting. Sad I just found out about this an hour ago.

He didn't seem quite right when I saw him on Loose Women several years ago, when he went on to talk about his battle with his mental health, and his financial issues. He seemed subdued and low.

No idea what he has died of as it's inconclusive at the moment... Sad

I went to a couple of S Club 7 concerts circa 2000 to 2002, (with the kids when they were little,) and they were sooo good, and this has really shaken me. And DH, and my (now adult) children too.

R.I.P. Paul Cattermole. ❤

How very sad, maybe pressure on him to perform.

I saw the band at a media event not that long ago. They were atrocious, the girls mainly - high as kites, forgot their words and didn't finish the set. I was very surprised by any plans for a reunion.

He comes from the same hometown as me, and he didn't have a good time growing up at all. I have always felt for him. Poor man, I think he was a troubled soul.

We don’t actually know what happened so I think some of the thinly veiled speculation on this thread isn’t very nice.

S Club 7 remind me of happy times being young, and this has really shocked me. RIP Paul.
