I ve been learning Finnish since Xmas. Only my son knows. He s learning it too
He s planning to move there as he met a lovely Finnish woman who he s marrying and I plan to visit a lot.

No one knows how I ve been waiting to break out of this rut and travel and live again

No one knows how I feel about the daily grind but it's lovely to have plans

Urinating on my compost. Don't ask me... It's a French thing. My Grandmother used to do it.

I have been doing it about 3 or 4 years now, and make approx 300-800 euro a month, tax free. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

It's all about following a strategy so you only do casino offers that will give you the 'edge' as opposed to the house having the edge. So over time, you will be in profit. I use team profit and team casino to identify those offers and to track my wins and losses. It's surprisingly reliable.

Note. Never never start casino or matched betting if there's a risk you'll actually start gambling. I only do pre-listed offers that have a calculated value that will give me a positive "estimated value (E.V)", I never ever just start playing slots or random gambling, that's not the idea at all so don't touch it with a barge pole if you think you might be tempted.

Interesting!

So what is your strategy?

Do you have to be quite good at maths to do this?

Setting up an old fashioned introduction agency. 5 years ago I established a social group for women over 45 in my area, and so many are disillusioned with online dating. Mumsnet posters' experiences of OLD have also motivated me. There has to be a better way. I have a degree in psychology and post grad counselling qualifications, so I understand relationship dynamics. I've only told one person though.

@FatAgainItsLettuceTime good luck! Just done my CCSP. - wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Ozempic too! I only had a stone to lose and have lost it. Gone from a size 12 to an 8-10. At age 45 it feels amazing. I pay hundreds each month for it so keep it to myself !

Could you tell me how you get it, and how it works please?
Thanks!

Im starting a course for a new position later this year, and I have started doing bits of training at home by myself to give me an edge, and more confidence walking into it

I'm learning metal smithing. I cannot explain it, but my hands have wanted to heat and shape metal for decades, so here we are Grin

MsJD · 05/04/2023 23:16

If I told, I wouldnt be doing something that nobody knows about any more.

Potentialneighboursfromhell · 05/04/2023 23:21

Having brain surgery. I don't want my friends to change the way they treat me, as in like I'm made of glass, so I'm not telling any of them until it's over and done with.

Gh12345 · 05/04/2023 23:21

Shopping for curtains but won’t tell the husband 😂😂

JoniBM · 05/04/2023 23:22

Looking at my birth sons social media. It is comforting to know I made the right decision.

JennyJenny8675309 · 05/04/2023 23:46

I bought Easter chocs and sweets even though I’m trying to lose weight and my kids are grown and gone. 😬

Matchingcollarandcuffs · 05/04/2023 21:02

Hiding away from the world under a blanket watching the new tennis documentaries on Netflix (whilst trying not to dwell on the fact that my biopsy appears to show melanoma and I have an urgent hospital appt next week).

DH is being v sweet but has gone out to be a friend so I’m genuinely having a lovely time on my own (teen DCs in their rooms)

Hope things go well for you 💐

knobheadex · 05/04/2023 23:48

Accidentally pregnant with baby no. 5. DP knows obviously...we just need to dwell on it for a while and think about what we want to do going forward.

Hibye23289 · 05/04/2023 23:54

@Potentialneighboursfromhell good luck, my mum had unexpected brain surgery less than 2 years ago and she is completely the same as before

Notamum12345577 · 05/04/2023 23:55

And your husbands are probably both thinking ‘shall we get them together once so we can watch?’ 🤣

paulaparticles · 05/04/2023 23:55

Every day I pretend I'm ok but have had lots of family bereavements and will never let anyone see my pain. Faking it through life.

Thatsridiculous · 05/04/2023 23:55

Those of you who are using Ozempic. Is it dangerous? I am desperate to lose weight - have about 4 stone to lose. Tried every diet and fail every time due to binge eating and emotional eating.

Did 1:1 last year and it was £70 per week but I can’t seem to get back on track.

SecretsIWouldNeverTell · 06/04/2023 00:01

Got £7,500 in a bank account - that my DH doesn't know about. I really hope they never send an actual proper statement.

Planning a party for our Silver Wedding in August, and then going to Canada for 3 weeks in September. Been planning the trip for 15 years.

You have been planning a trip for 15 years? Really. How much planning?

I haven't planned a holiday yet this year. Will probably do one within the next couple of months so I find it really interesting about your long term planning. Please enlighten me.
