In need of inspiration, I'm annoyed with myself but I just keep reverting to cheese on toast if at home.

I'm only just getting my lunch now. Finished for my dinner break then straight onto a zoom training course which ended the same time I had to go back out the door for my next call. I have had a BLT, pack of quavers and an iced Frappuccino.

declutteringmymind · 20/03/2023 20:17

Crumble feta on beans on toast. It's amazing.

allfurcoatnoknickers · 20/03/2023 20:22

Oooh, I have an interesting answer for this today - a steak salad! Happened to be WFH with no DH or DS and had one random steak hanging around in the freezer which I had time to cook today.

Usually it's scrambled or poached eggs on toast or a boring salad though...

MandyMotherOfBrian · 20/03/2023 20:25

A dressed crab with a slice of brown toast.

Ohhlavache · 20/03/2023 20:25

Cheese and chilli chutney sandwich.....followed by half a tube of pringles

I'm on a diet and it's all gone wrong 😂

Mammyloveswine · 20/03/2023 20:25

Aldi "bang bang chicken and rice" pot.., 290 calories, think it was about £2.45... it was really tasty and very filling!

Daisychainsandglitter · 20/03/2023 20:25

Posh ploughman's sandwich from the co op, walkers cheese and onion crisps, yogurt.

Mum2jenny · 20/03/2023 20:26

Cheese and garlic scone. Carrot sticks, cucumber stick, cheese cubes, hula hoops.

Thisisthedawningoftheageofaquarius · 20/03/2023 20:29

My default lunch; small wrap heated in a dry frying pan. Grate cheese over and add pre cooked chicken with sweet chili sauce. so nice and high in protein - so it’s filling.
(I usually cook a few breasts in the oven & freeze - then take out the night before).

AutisticLegoLover · 20/03/2023 20:29

Greek yogurt with homemade cherry compote and honey. Every day.
I really want cheese on toast now!

thaegumathteth · 20/03/2023 20:30

Things I have other days :

Greek salad sometimes with pittas
Goats cheese and beetroot on bagel thins
Egg and cheese in bagel thin
Tomato and mascarpone soup with a babybel in
Beans on toast
Pasta salad - cucumber, tomato, onion, pepper, fusilli, Mayo, Italian seasoning

SacreBlue · 20/03/2023 20:31

I forgot lunch today Blush I went out to garden ‘for an hour’ fully expecting rain & since it didn’t appear I kept going.

Dinner is leftover spuds & last of sausages/bacon from fry at weekend all thrown into oven together so that probably would’ve been lunch if I had remembered.

I thought about adding beans but have went for some parsnips & copious amounts of brown sauce instead.

Twospaniels · 20/03/2023 20:32

2 eggs scrambled with a bit of grated cheese on top

CheshireCat1 · 20/03/2023 20:32

Amy106 · 20/03/2023 20:33

Italian wedding soup and cheesy toast

Mojitomogul · 20/03/2023 20:34

Tuna pasta with spinach today, often have leftover salmon/rice/broccoli or leftover spag bol, or a bagel with cream cheese and ham.

GreyCarpet · 20/03/2023 20:39

Smoked salmon and cream cheese.

Snugglemonkey · 20/03/2023 20:51

Roasted red pepper, butternut squash and sweet potato soup (home made) and a cheese toastie.

bluechameleon · 20/03/2023 20:53

Today at work I had leftover vegetable curry. For work I usually take leftovers, soup or a salad. At home I usually have beans or eggs on toast.

Stepbumpstepbumpbump · 20/03/2023 21:07

Cheese on toast was breakfast 😋 for lunch I had a Caesar salad pack from the supermarket with a baked salmon fillet on the side

NoInvitesEver · 20/03/2023 21:08

Some falafels and salad in a wholemeal wrap. On a health drive!

LubaLuca · 20/03/2023 21:13

Crackers and garlic Philadelphia. Standard lunch for me, it doesn't require any planning and is quick to get into my mouth. I never cook or even heat anything up at lunchtime.

Forgottenmypasswordagain · 20/03/2023 21:17

Toast and cheese, sorry!

catlovingdoctor · 20/03/2023 21:21

Lamb shish and salad wrap with chips.
Very tasty and filling!
