Bobby Davro. There was that clip doing the rounds a few years ago of him being put in stocks and having his trousers pulled down by Jim Bowen, Lionel Blair and Keith Chegwin, who then sang "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" but the stocks fell over and Bobby's face smashed into the ground. The other three are all now dead but Davros still alive.

In the nicest way, I don't think Karen Danczuk was ever destined for any kind of career as a celebrity - she seized on a blip that propelled her into the spotlight, struck whilst the iron was hot and understandably wrung it out for all she could. Her DH isn't routinely in the news anymore either.
She reminds me of when Bart Simpson became the 'I didn't do it' boy!

but he did have a justifiable response to the backlash.
Danny Baker fired by BBC over royal baby chimp tweet - BBC News
Not really, no. He's an intelligent guy who would have known connotations from football, as the above points out. Note he couldn't even own it and use the word "chimp" in his initial apology: Sorry my gag pic of the little fella in the posh outfit has whipped some up.

At least Alan Sugar owned it and apologised.

Meg Ryan is another one.
Selina Scott was just interviewed about giving the finger to some cosy 'Breakfast Time' reunion; about the misogyny she faced every day at work and what a creep Frank Bough was.
She wouldn't play ball or let herself be bullied, so they sidelined her.
I wanted to applaud her.

I read that interview, it was shocking the culture of the BBC. Really admired Selina Scott after reading it.
