Ill start with

The Olsen twins started their own high fashion label called The Row. The clothes are so beautiful but incredibly expensive. I own one black t shirt from there and it has its own special velvet hanger in my wardrobe.

BigMandsTattooPortfolio · 22/03/2023 17:25

The Selfie Queen, Karen Danczuk.

Florenz · 22/03/2023 19:53

Bobby Davro. There was that clip doing the rounds a few years ago of him being put in stocks and having his trousers pulled down by Jim Bowen, Lionel Blair and Keith Chegwin, who then sang "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" but the stocks fell over and Bobby's face smashed into the ground. The other three are all now dead but Davros still alive.

The Selfie Queen, Karen Danczuk.

Blast from the past. I just looked her up and her Instagram hasn’t had anything posted for quite a few years now!

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 23/03/2023 08:08

In the nicest way, I don't think Karen Danczuk was ever destined for any kind of career as a celebrity - she seized on a blip that propelled her into the spotlight, struck whilst the iron was hot and understandably wrung it out for all she could. Her DH isn't routinely in the news anymore either.

She reminds me of when Bart Simpson became the 'I didn't do it' boy!

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 23/03/2023 08:12

We still always find ourselves loudly singing 'Bobby Davro!' in the car whenever 'I Would Be 500 Miles' comes on - just the normal original version!"

Danny Baker
Keith Allen

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 23/03/2023 09:10

Whatever his true intentions were or were not, I think Danny Baker's professional engagements have probably been rather sparse on the ground since his comment after the birth of Archie Sussex.

icelolly99 · 23/03/2023 12:56

Danny Baker is currently on tour as a follow up to the books he's written. It was unfortunate what happened to him after THAT post.... but he did have a justifiable response to the backlash.

EachandEveryone · 23/03/2023 13:25

I’ll add Max Bleasdale to Keith Allen. A perfect pairing in Bodies but haven’t seen either of them much since.

Danny Baker fired by BBC over royal baby chimp tweet - BBC News
Not really, no. He's an intelligent guy who would have known connotations from football, as the above points out. Note he couldn't even own it and use the word "chimp" in his initial apology: Sorry my gag pic of the little fella in the posh outfit has whipped some up.

Danny Baker

Danny Baker fired by BBC over royal baby chimp tweet

The BBC sacks the presenter over his "royal baby" image of a chimp in a suit holding hands with a couple.

At least Alan Sugar owned it and apologised.

Selina scott-she was stunning and a great presenter

SerafinasGoose · 26/03/2023 16:59

Meg Ryan is another one.

Selina Scott was just interviewed about giving the finger to some cosy 'Breakfast Time' reunion; about the misogyny she faced every day at work and what a creep Frank Bough was.

She wouldn't play ball or let herself be bullied, so they sidelined her.

I wanted to applaud her.

midsomermurderess · 26/03/2023 18:13

Selina Scott was in that lovely BBC programme Winter Walks. Last year's series, I think.

I read that interview, it was shocking the culture of the BBC. Really admired Selina Scott after reading it.

BigMandsTattooPortfolio · 26/03/2023 19:05

Poor Selina Scott also had to put up with interviewing and being mauled by Jimmy Savile. 🤮

Zuffe · 26/03/2023 20:56
