Nicest/not nice celebs.

Who is the nicest celeb you've met?

On the flip side who was not nice?

I had a friend who met Girl's Aloud after she won a competition.

They waited hours to met them, waiting for them to arrive.

Apparently Nadine was lovely, chatted and genuinely seemed interested to meet them.

Sarah & Nicola not so nice, very mardy and diva-ish.

Nicest: Olivia Newton John - beautiful inside and out. Met her once in a ladies loo in a London shopping centre and she was so friendly and humble, despite being on her way to super-stardom! I've never heard or seen anyone say a bad thing about her!

Worst: Jane McDonald. Gives the image of the Yorkshire "girl next door", friendly to everyone kind of personality, but in reality, she was full of her own importance and quite nasty when I briefly met her.

Nicest:
Bez
Gary lineker
Mark palios
Pete Doherty
Robbie Williams
King Charles
Sebastian coe (despite him being a Tory )

Tim burgess

Many top djs , Simon bouland , Danny mekanik, all the guys from horsemeat disco all gorgeous people

Arses
Rowen Atkinson
Lauren hill (refused to walk 6 steps as she had demanded a golf buggy )
Mel B

Another vote for Jonny Vegas. He is absolutely as you see him on the TV lovely funny guy.

Daisy95 · 10/03/2023 14:17

Lovely- abbey Clancy & Peter crouch were both so so nice, absolutely loved them
Tanya bardsley- was lovely when i actually thought she'd be a but stuck up

Prince Phillip & wills & Kate have all been lovely, which I always felt was expected and part of their role. However all 3 of them went above and beyond their role chatting & helping me during an event

Horrible- Darren huckerby- came to our school to give a chat and obviously all us kids were excited (played for our local club) he was horrible, miserable man, didn't have a photo or anything with any of the kids. Absolute arse

abhainn · 10/03/2023 14:18

Shane Mc Gowan is a lovely man.

Guy Ritchie was engaging and down to earth.

The following I had never heard of them when I met them;

Lead singer from Spandau Ballet (his name escapes me)- very friendly and unassuming

Fred from Call the Midwife, (before CTM) was lovely and very apologetic when his family member was a complete ass.

Victoria Wood struck me as being quite shy but was lovely

Michelle Collins was a complete ass, rude and entitled.

ellamar1 · 10/03/2023 14:19

Alicia keys,Gemma Atkinson, cesc Fabregas,Thierry Henry all lovely,Katie Perry,Suranne Jones were very unfriendly the worst was the guy that played Fred in coronation st. He was so moody with staff backstage at a Christmas event with multiple stars. The same night Richard Fleeshman, his mum and Roxanne Pallett did not seem very nice.

ScentOfAMemory · 10/03/2023 14:19

George Best was lovely. Very very shy and quiet and seemed almost embarrassed (I was working in a bookshop and he was signing his autobiography)

I think Andy Murray is nice. I don't like the fist pumping and shouting but I do like the story (which I hope is true) that when he was very little he saw a famous tennis star walk past some children who wanted autographs- not sure if he was one of them or just saw it) and apparently he swore then that he would never leave the tennis court while there were still children wanting his autograph. I always watch with bated breath going "Andy, you've missed one, second row"

The Jonathan Creek man, Alan Davies(?) is apparently awful. A friend of mine was somewhere and he was there and again, some children approached him and he bollocked their parent for allowing them to go near him.

My DH has met Amanda Holden and says she has the most masculine handshake he’s ever received, he had to untangle his fingers afterwards

Meandfour · 10/03/2023 14:21

Breadhead1 · 10/03/2023 14:11

David Beckham - lovely
Vic Reeves - really chatty and friendly
Stephen Graham- Not lovely, thinks alot of himself

I’ve met Stephen graham many times and this hasn’t been my experience at all. Really nice man, very friendly.

Hadjab · 10/03/2023 14:21

Met Damon Albarn outside a pub in Notting Hill. He chatted to me and my friend for over an hour - was drunk as a skunk, but absolutely adorable.

coloursquare · 10/03/2023 14:23

Michael Ball is lovely

Gigwidow · 10/03/2023 14:23

I won't go into detail because I met her through work, but it's always really upset me how 'mean girls' Rochelle Humes was to me once. It was in a work canteen and she was being proper schoolgirl mean whilst the rest of the girls in the Saturdays couldn't have been nicer. Really dented my confidence and made me cry. Grates when I see her on telly being all 'sisterly' and 'just another mum'. She wasn't like that at all.

Freel · 10/03/2023 14:24

Martin sheen is an absolutely lovely, lovely person to meet and still the best president 😂

Spidey66 · 10/03/2023 14:26

Neil Morrisey is an acquaintance of mine. He drinks in a local pub, we have friends in common and I have his phone number!

He's a lovely man, very down to earth and a bit like his character Tony in Men Behaving Badly ie a bit cheeky but likeable.

Caviarandgelatine · 10/03/2023 14:28

I worked in a theatre so met a lot, but Kathy Burke stands out as the nicest. She's exactly as you would imagine - very down to earth, chatted to everyone, remembered everybody's name. Plenty of celebs were pleasant enough but she was on a different level.

I remember seeing David Essex stuck in a traffic jam the other way in London years ago. I'm looking at him trying to work out why he looked familiar and he gave me the loveliest smile I've ever seen.

My mum would have loved that, she adored him 🤣

Mildura · 10/03/2023 14:36

I've not met him, but there are numerous reports from people that have that James Corden is a grade A bellend.

David essex in the 80s/early 90s was not a nice person to be around

Dellaandthedealer · 10/03/2023 14:40

Disappointed to hear Peter Kay was arsey……….😢

Elerandooo · 10/03/2023 14:44

Danny from McFly. Bumped into him at a train station and he said he liked my shoes. Chatted for a bit and got a nice photo 😂

Worst I’ve met was Kyle Falconer from The View. Just unpleasant and up his own arse considering they were absolute shite.
