Nicest/not nice celebs.

Who is the nicest celeb you've met?

On the flip side who was not nice?

I had a friend who met Girl's Aloud after she won a competition.

They waited hours to met them, waiting for them to arrive.

Apparently Nadine was lovely, chatted and genuinely seemed interested to meet them.

Sarah & Nicola not so nice, very mardy and diva-ish.

Of those I've worked with, Ralf Little and Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley from Corrie) stand out as being great, Robert Webb as being not - 3 days on set and he wouldn't even say hello in passing to anyone but the director. Even ignored the super cute dog he was sharing a scene with. The dog was lovely.

Oh yes I worked with Ralph too, he was really kind and funny.

PearlClutzsche · 10/03/2023 12:47

Michael Sheen and Ray Winstone are both very lovely.

weaselwords · 10/03/2023 12:47

I desperately want to know if Pedro Pascale is as much fun as he seems in interviews.

bazzabas · 10/03/2023 12:47

I also had a friend who knew Amanda Holden when she was married to Les Dennis when he was doing Family Fortunes and she said she was a absolutely lovely lady!

I met Sean Bean in an odd situation where we were both in a thing together and we was absolutely lovely. Low key, a bit shy and just really lovely.

I've always fancied him.

I heard from a reliable source that the lead singer from Ugly Kid Joe was a great kisser, if that puts him in the nice bracket!

Caleb from Clarkson's Farm is a professional nice guy, he is on the meet and greet circuit and is well liked.

I've met a couple of footballers in the arsey category.

Many years ago I worked in a shop which had a large window facing the street. it was on a corner with traffic lights. The lights were red and a car stopped, which had Les Dawson in the passenger seat..My friend and I started waving furiously and when he saw us he started doing his Cosmo Smallpiece face, then blew us a kiss as the lights changed 😍😍😅

Iamanunsafebuilding · 10/03/2023 13:06

Ruth Jones was lovely to the cabin crew on a recent domestic flight

GoodChat · 10/03/2023 13:09

Brian Cox is very lovely and incredibly humble

Johnny Vegas was a little love - took another actress to task over being rude to my colleague

GoodChat · 10/03/2023 13:10

Vernon Kay has an incredibly high opinion of himself. He's not very quick.

CrotchetyQuaver · 10/03/2023 13:11

I remember seeing David Essex stuck in a traffic jam the other way in London years ago. I'm looking at him trying to work out why he looked familiar and he gave me the loveliest smile I've ever seen.

SzeliSecond · 10/03/2023 13:15

To second others, Ralf Little was absolutely lovely and Rich Fulcher and Dave Brown from Mighty Boosh were the friendliest folk I ever met - the rest of the cast not so much (although Noel and Julien were hammered).

I met a few of the Prodigy and they were really kind, Papa Roach were a bit rude and arsey.

The members of the Rasmus were really nice too.

tiredhadenough · 10/03/2023 13:18

Phillip schofield is a very rude man.
I agree about Lawrence LB- really up himself and sleezy.

Michael Owen was lovely to meet though

Objectionhearsayspeculation · 10/03/2023 13:18

Bob Geldof was really when nice we bumped into him in a hotel once and he complimented my dd on her hair colour and politely listened to my youngest as she waffled on about getting hers coloured too.

Hoppinggreen · 10/03/2023 13:19

Gregg Wallace is a complete Dick

Robbie Coltrane was a boisterous and engaging raconteur and also a right shortarse!

Are you sure it was Robbie Coltrane you met? He was over 6ft! Unless you were expecting him to be Hagrid sized?

ShirleyPhallus · 10/03/2023 13:19

Johnny Vegas is brilliant - he stood chatting with us in a pub for hours once

Joanna Lumley is absolutely lovely. As is Phil Spencer.

Gordon Ramsey nice but “on” if that makes sense.

Clare Balding is really really nice. A genuinely nice person.

Lots of c-list comedians (8 out of 10 cats types) either really mardy or just a bit quiet

Beowulfa · 10/03/2023 13:23

Many years ago during a particularly dull day at work, I found myself on a forum for airline staff reading a massive thread about their experiences of various celebrities on flights. Cilla Black and Boris Becker were rated the rudest. Kylie was lovely apparently.

saymynamex · 10/03/2023 13:25

Gavin rossdale was nice enough but constantly mentioned his girlfriend like I was going to try it in (I wasn't)

Prince Harry and Meghan - absolutely lovely and kind.

Linda lusardi and her husband Sam! In panto with my daughter, they were amazing and she adored 'her friend Linda'

ChungusBoi · 10/03/2023 13:25

I have known one of the ‘not nice’ people listed since they were a baby. They are naturally shy and struggle with being recognised. Any of us can have an off day or not show our best side in public. Some people are arses too, but my point is that most of us don’t really know these celebs and they struggle with the same things as the rest of us.

loafintheoven · 10/03/2023 13:27

Stood behind Bill Oddie at a Pret a Manger once. Rude.

PenelopeTitsDrop3121 · 10/03/2023 13:29

Kiefer Sutherland was so lovely. I cried. Been a huge fan since the lost boys. He hugged me 😭

Boy George moody
