Do your bedroom curtains match your bedding?

Do you have matching bedding and curtains? Or do they at least compliment each other? Do lots of people have curtains that just clash with their bedding?

We have 3 different sets of bedding one of them definitely doesn’t go with the curtains, it bugs me every time it’s on the bed (which is all winter because it’s our cosy brushed cotton bedding)

No - curtains are a damask pattern, bedding is pale. They complement, but don’t match.

My parents have matching bedding, curtains, pelmet and valance. Thankfully it is all quite neutral now, but there was a time when it was very floral and very busy 😆

Christ no. Curtains are pale grey with a very slight texture. Bedding is a) grey with burnt orange and cranberry stripes or b) white with black and pink flowers.

Black curtains, plain white bedding. Having them match is very 90's.

My bedroom is very much Nightmare Before Christmas themed so everything kind of matches that. My curtains are plain purple and walls are grey (with a NBC feature wall). I don't use a duvet, much prefer large blankets so I have purple ones and grey ones.

No as I have different types of bedding but I have charcoal coloured curtains and pink and grey bedding just different patterns. So they match colour wise

Mine neither. Sometimes it does match accidentally when the stars align and then I feel like I'm living in a hotel for a bit. One day all my bedding will match.

I think matchy-matchiness is for people with no imagination or creative flair of their own.

Blimey I'm in the minority, my bedding matches my curtains and I have a spare set of identical bedding so that when one is being washed it still matches!
In fact I've gone all out... my wallpaper matches too!!! (Although the colours are reversed on the wallpaper) 😱😆

Not as in a set but they go together nicely.

My curtains don't even match. I have yellow curtains at one window and a purple Thai blind at the other, bedding tends to be white in the summer and brushed cotton check in the winter. It sort of ties together and my eyes are shut for nearly all of the time I am in there.

Oh mine does 😂 I feel i’m in the minority though! Curtains are cream linen, bedcovers are all cream based with other patterns/colours on top (one is pastel scandi trees on cream background, one is waffle cream and one is brushed cotton cream with red stags)
Each duvet set has its own matching under-pillowcases and fitted sheet and is stored inside one main pillowcase! I run a tight ship here 😄

Those don't match either. My curtains are brown and I have no bedding 🤣
