Do your bedroom curtains match your bedding?

Do you have matching bedding and curtains? Or do they at least compliment each other? Do lots of people have curtains that just clash with their bedding?

We have 3 different sets of bedding one of them definitely doesn’t go with the curtains, it bugs me every time it’s on the bed (which is all winter because it’s our cosy brushed cotton bedding)

I only remember one kid having this when I was growing up. Everyone else I knew had curtain/blinds and bedding that didn't match including the footy fans.

Now as an adult my curtains are plain and bedding is patterned. In adult rooms the curtains are boring colours while in my DD's room the curtains are bright colours.

They did and I felt the pinnacle of poshness...then the bedding ripped...we now just have matching colours

They don't match as in they aren't the same pattern but they co-ordinate in terms of colour.

They're not matchy matchy but they are coordinated. So walls, curtains and bed covers match

I have a throw over bedspread which is the same as my curtains. It covers up a multitude of shades of duvet covers and sheets!

Yes. I am more than happy that I am 9 years old and from the 80's in all 4 of my bedrooms!
I will look far and wide to match and it irritates me when I discover a lovely duvet and they don't have the curtains to match. I have even been known to buy 2 additional single duvet covers and make them into curtains! 😂

Yes, but only because they're my mums old curtains and bedding...

Yes. Floral curtains and matching 2 decorative pillow cases with quilt cover and other 2 pillow cases in toning colour. All from John Lewis though I had to buy a spare pair of curtains and chop them up to do the pillowcases.

I have navy linen roman blinds, and an assortment of Piglet bed linen. Almost anything goes with navy, so I don't have to think about it too much. I've never had a matching set of linen and curtains tbh. To restrictive.

This morning I had a vivid recollection of an 80s style sofa bed and matching curtains 😃. I have no curtains in my room. The kids do and they don't match and it is fine.

In last bedroom they complemented but our bedroom isn't currently decorated (we only moved 5 years ago!) and we have gone through various duvet sets because apparently we manage to rip holes in them (???) so it's a bit random at the moment.

No, but my MIL’s do, I every bedroom in their house.. chintz , lovely!

We do have a matching set but most of the time we put on 4 different pillow cases with the bedcover and the curtains are nothing like it.

Yes. Onli got two sets of bedding though. Treated myself to this in lockdown when I was fed up. Spare room is terrible though

Not matchy as in being identical. But it's all carefully considered so that everything coordinates.

My bedroom curtains are navy blue. My bedding complements them but doesn’t match them. It’s a pain having curtains that match.

No, my curtains are plain and the same (dark) colour as the bedroom walls and all the sets of bedding are patterned.

My curtains are like a cream colour my bedding is black so no

Plain dark grey curtains.

Winter bedding dark greys
Summer light greys and white

So yes pretty much matches

All our rooms with curtains have the same basic extra long grey ones from IKEA. so technically none if them match their rooms, but none if them look out of place.
