If you could get away with one single crime

What would it be?

Mine would be robbing a bank I think. Plenty of money to keep me going

Espionage looks like fun, or maybe I'd stage an elaborate heist, preferably somewhere glamorous like Monte Carlo.

Murder doesn't appeal at all. I'd struggle to snuff out even the most heinous of people.

I'd like to go and break into my mother's house, she stole lots of things from me years ago, hence NC! But one thing was incredibly sentimental that was left to me, meant FA to her she just did it out of pure spite and I'd like it back.

Or I'd like to break into a trampoline type park, a huge one with slides etc and have it all to myself for one night, relive some childhood fun!

Murder. I have a couple of people who were abusive towards me that I would enjoy disposing of.

But robbing a bank sounds like the most practical and profitable choice! Plus I could also use some of the cash to hire a hitman to finish off the above... :)

It isn’t the law that stops me it is the harm that I would be doing to others not the ridiculously abusive men (one a paedpophile and rapist and maybe some of his enablers but also the wife beating abusive in every way other man too) but the people who love and rely on them who are dependent on them and who are committed and loyal to a version of these men that doesn’t really exist would be heartbroken.

Something that left me with enough money for me and my immediate family to be comfortable for the rest of our lives, ideally without taking something that other ordinary people actually own. I wouldn't want to empty other people's bank accounts or commit fraud that might impact on say, people's pensions, but maybe theft of something from someone super rich who wouldn't really miss it.
There are a few people who have treated me very badly over the years but I wouldn't waste my "wish" on taking revenge on them, I'd want something with more long term benefits.

I would happily murder child killers and rapists, anyone who has taken an innocent life. If it was fool proof. I'm more surprised that some people are surprised at that..
