What’s your ‘normal’ run of the mill for that you just can’t?

I’ll go first…

warmed tuna, like tuna tomato pasta or a tuna melt… anything with warm tuna is a hard pass.

mystery meat, like frankfurters etc, i could never eat a hot dog, and those hot dogs that you see in jars Vom.com

I love corn on the cob but tinned sweetcorn makes me retch!

Daijoubudesu · 20/02/2023 00:05

Courgette
Aubergine
Cauliflower
Pate which I call spat-a
Offal
Tea
Milk on its own but like milky things

Pez11 · 20/02/2023 00:31

Mushrooms 🤮

Would ban them if I had my way.

mackthepony · 20/02/2023 02:19

Tea ( the drink)

Beer

MrsAvocet · 20/02/2023 02:26

Vinegar, or anything containing it, such as salad dressing.
Also mayonnaise, salad cream, ketchup or any other kind of revolting slimey substance. Tartare sauce is particularly disgusting. I won't have it in the house. 🤮

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 20/02/2023 05:18

Also warm tuna and goats cheese. Love porridge though.

Also cold pasta and cold rice.

Ilovechoc12 · 20/02/2023 05:32

Cottage cheese - even just looking at it makes me want to 🤮 it's just the lumps 🤮

Dumplings - can't swallow those things 😂

Chips from a chip shop

User18936572 · 20/02/2023 06:11

Actually anything from a chip shop

ProperVexed · 20/02/2023 06:53

Milk. I hate the texture and the way it coats your mouth. At infant school we used to be given little glass bottles of milk at morning playtime. I had to try and get a friend to drink mine without the teacher noticing
Now I'm grown up and old I like yoghurt...but still can't drink milk.

borntobequiet · 20/02/2023 06:56

Porridge. Just the thought of it makes me feel sick.

Just tinned tuna full stop. Warm or cold it just looks like cat vomit to me and the smell is no better.

Also prawn mayo, there was a girl who used to eat it every day at lunch when I was at school and I hated having to sit next to her in afternoon science because I could smell it all lesson (note to all parents - never subject your child's classmates to this horror)

Oh, you have reminded me of that horrendous smell straight after school dinner time. Go into your first lesson and it would stink of tomato soup in a flask/monster munch etc..

Warm tuna absolutely! How kids can eat Tuna with pasta is beyond me..

Chicken, beef or sweetcorn on a Pizza (fine with pepperoni/salami/ham though)
Lamb
Duck
Soft fat on meat (but like hardened fat on chops)
Chicken wings (Straight from the chicken)

containsnuts · 20/02/2023 07:34

Orange juice from a carton. It's sweet, sour, bitter and acidic all at the same time with an aftertaste similar to when I've been sick.

Love to eat fresh oranges though.

Ricco12 · 20/02/2023 07:37

Olives

UnctuousUnicorns · 20/02/2023 07:42

Well I'm vegetarian, so meat and fish are off the menu anyway. Ever since I can remember I've detested baked beans. Foul, slimy wee things. 🤮 Can't stand olives either. How appropriate that that word is an anagram of "so evil". 😉 Yuk!

blackheartsgirl · 20/02/2023 08:36

Lamb 🤢🤮

burblish · 20/02/2023 09:28

Meat/fish (I’m vegetarian)
Cottage cheese, paneer, plain milk (esp if warm) and porridge all make me heave - they’re all like vomit

speedymum1968 · 20/02/2023 09:45

Corned beef didn't help that my dad called it corned dog 🤑

Thepossibility · 20/02/2023 09:49

Stir fry.
I love salad. Love veg. Can't handle a stir fry, no idea why.

rookiemere · 20/02/2023 09:52

Anything with that ghastly Heinz tomato taste so tinned tomato soup, baked beans or tinned spaghetti all make me heave.
The worst is when I order a cooked breakfast and they forget to take off the beans , so their ghastly juice is ruining everything else

BearSoFair · 20/02/2023 09:57

Baked beans. Never a fan but a young DD once said they were 'like little heads bumping together' and I can't stomach them since!

TheGold · 20/02/2023 10:07

Tinned tuna full stop, cold or warm (fresh tuna is ok though).

Milk unless it’s semi skimmed and very cold.

Mushrooms (the smell, the texture, the fact it’s a fungus)

Anything goaty or sheepy - milk, cheese, yoghurt, meat. Even the smell of lambs wool makes me gag!

Creamy or cheesy sauces. Bechamel etc. Vomity.

I’m extremely cautious about meat in general. No innards, weird mushy things like pate, tinned meat, fatty meat, processed meat like hotdogs, cheap sausages, unidentified or mixed meat dishes where you aren’t sure what’s actually in it. NO.

UnctuousUnicorns · 20/02/2023 10:13

"The worst is when I order a cooked breakfast and they forget to take off the beans , so their ghastly juice is ruining everything else"

Oh, that happened to us once at a cafe. We (DH isn't keen either) clearly stated "No beans, please," when we ordered. Both plates arrived with the evil little fuckers sliming all over the place. 🤢 "No, we said, 'no beans.'"

Plates were taken away and returned - with the beans just scraped off the plate, the foul sauce/juice still contaminating everything else. 🤢 We shook our heads and stood our ground until we received fresh plates, untouched by the foul things. Stand up for your right to be bean free.

I have noticed that they are often now safely contained in a ramekin on many cooked breakfast plates, so that if unwelcome, they can be swiftly and swiftly whipped away. Good call, I say.

greenacrylicpaint · 20/02/2023 10:13

tinned pasta.
too soft and mushy and slimy.

UnctuousUnicorns · 20/02/2023 10:14

*that should be swiftly and safely
