What’s your ‘normal’ run of the mill for that you just can’t?

I’ll go first…

warmed tuna, like tuna tomato pasta or a tuna melt… anything with warm tuna is a hard pass.

mystery meat, like frankfurters etc, i could never eat a hot dog, and those hot dogs that you see in jars Vom.com

I'll pass on pizza, anything coffee flavour although I love the smell, olives, Marmite, parmesan, lamb and any meat of an indeterminate origin🙄

Whydoineednewusername · 19/02/2023 20:48

Definitely bananas! I want to like them, but the thought of them is just slime and ick. I can't bring myself to put it in my mouth. It's about the only thing I feel that way about.

GCAcademic · 19/02/2023 20:51

Milk makes me gag. It’s disgusting. How I was ever a baby, god only knows.

Soubriquet · 19/02/2023 20:52

All pizza and all cake?

Yup. All pizza and cake. It’s the texture

(I have ARFID)

UnattendedPotato · 19/02/2023 20:52

Frankfurter, hot dogs, bockwurst, "irish style" cheap sausages. My DB worked in a industrial meat packing plant and the stories of slurry meats are too much for me to bear.

VictoriaBun · 19/02/2023 20:55

Any sweet sandwich, no to jam , honey , banana , chocolate spread etc. Didn't even eat them as a child.

Vwswimmer1 · 19/02/2023 20:55

Mine is potato 🤢 it's the texture of it that gets me, particularly jacket, new, salad etc. I'm not a fan of chips or roasties but can just about manage them if they're covered in gravy and crispy.

somuchtolearnabout · 19/02/2023 20:56

Gherkins or pickles 🤢

There's a trend at the moment where people film themselves trying those ginormous pickles in different flavours, the idea of it. I can't. They come individually packed in a little sleeve with loads of juice and honestly even typing this out is making me dry heave. Brb

kagerou · 19/02/2023 20:56

Just tinned tuna full stop. Warm or cold it just looks like cat vomit to me and the smell is no better.

Also prawn mayo, there was a girl who used to eat it every day at lunch when I was at school and I hated having to sit next to her in afternoon science because I could smell it all lesson (note to all parents - never subject your child's classmates to this horror)

gogohmm · 19/02/2023 20:56

Baked beans, hate the sauce, ditto spaghetti hoops and similar

Wonderingwhyy · 19/02/2023 20:58

I’m also with you on warm tuna. Particularly tuna pasta bake - thought of it makes me feel queasy

MurderSheSpoke · 19/02/2023 20:58

ScoobyBooby · 19/02/2023 20:59

Bacon !
urgh the smell from Greggs at breakfast time makes me 🤢

gogohmm · 19/02/2023 20:59

Interestingly done these foods listed others hate I love - frankfurters with gherkins is my idea of a lovely snack!

DNBU · 19/02/2023 21:00

Processed and cured meats

feelinglikeaterribleperson · 19/02/2023 21:00

Eggs, fish, porridge, greggs chicken bakes🤢

Icecreamandapplepie · 19/02/2023 21:01

Hot chocolate with loads of marshmallows. I would feel sick for hours. I'm ashamed to admit this in real life.

Sausages. The thought of what's in them. Except chipolatas, which are fine. I don't know why.

LindorDoubleChoc · 19/02/2023 21:01

Tomatoes and cucumber. Makes holidaying in Greece difficult!

MajesticWhine · 19/02/2023 21:01

'Fresh' soup in plastic cartons. Especially lumpy ones. Like bowls of vomit.
I don't mind tinned soup or homemade, I know it makes no sense.

ichundich · 19/02/2023 21:02

Milk, especially when warm, beetroot, celery, cheese and onion pasty, quiche, scrambled egg.

BertieBotts · 19/02/2023 21:02

Cheese! Any and all cheese. This is some kind of actual intolerance, as it gives me gastric distress (D&V), but I also just find it absolutely repulsive, sour and greasy - I can't see what everyone sees in it?? The most annoying thing is when it's plonked on food without warning because the assumption is everyone loves the stuff Confused it's really hard to extricate from other ingredients.

Also not a fan of bread or pasta. Rice is OK but still meh. Don't get the carb love. Most boring food group ever, only made passable by their proximity to other, actually delicious, foods.

Don't like prawns, but I don't think that's hugely unusual. I will tolerate them but for example the thought of a prawn curry does not sound appealing to me.

LubaLuca · 19/02/2023 21:02

Mayonnaise. Makes everything slimy and slippery, and adds no flavour at all. I feel a bit queasy thinking about biting into a sandwich or burger with mayo in.

DahliaMacNamara · 19/02/2023 21:03

Buttered toast makes me heave.
Rice pudding too.

ChaToilLeam · 19/02/2023 21:08

Eggs. They are alright when disguised in a cake, but can’t eat them boiled or fried or scrambled and I can’t eat anything they have touched either with their horrible yolky vileness. 🤮

Blue cheese - mouldy food like that should go in the bin.

Goats’ cheese - tastes like the smell of goats. Goats are lovely animals but they pong!

LillethCrane · 19/02/2023 21:12

Grapefruit- too bitter
Coffee- love the smell but the taste makes me gag
Blue cheese- the smell and taste is repugnant to me
Pork pies- that savoury jelly makes me shudder just imagining it in my mouth. I love sweet jelly though…
Meat fat- no thank you. It’s that wobbly texture and the thought of biting into it sends a shiver down my spine
