What’s your ‘normal’ run of the mill for that you just can’t?

I’ll go first…

warmed tuna, like tuna tomato pasta or a tuna melt… anything with warm tuna is a hard pass.

mystery meat, like frankfurters etc, i could never eat a hot dog, and those hot dogs that you see in jars Vom.com

Pasta dishes

WellTidy · 19/02/2023 22:03

Cauliflower cheese. Can’t stand cauliflower (taste or texture) and melted cheese that isn’t on a pizza makes me feel unwell. I eat pretty much everything else.

Creamcrackersandricecakes · 19/02/2023 22:03

There's no sesame in tiger bread, the crackled texture on top is made by spreading a paste made of rice flour on the dough before baking.

It's eggs for me in any form - absolutely fucking disgusting things. Having said that, unlike the coleslaw hater, I absolutely would eat a mouthful of egg for a million pounds. In fact I'd eat a hundred eggs, raw, if it got me a million pounds. Wink

Meandfour · 19/02/2023 22:03

Parmesan. Oh god the smell alone nearly makes me retch.

Oakbeam · 19/02/2023 22:04

The skin on custard or blancmange etc. Apart from that, I’m not fussy.

Caramac555 · 19/02/2023 22:08

Goat milk/cheese/meat
Blue cheeses
Oysters/mussels
Parsnips

TattiePants · 19/02/2023 22:11

Cheese - pretty much all cheese with the exception of halloumi or a very mild cheese like mozzarella that’s melted on a pizza with lots of other toppings. I’ve tasted very few cheeses as I can’t get past the smell and texture.

Tomato - the smell of a freshly cut tomato makes my stomach turn.

Lamb - it’s the smell again

Tea - I’m not sure I’ve ever tasted a cup as again, I can’t get past the smell.

IDontWantToBeAPie · 19/02/2023 22:12

Shepherds pie. Makes me throw up.

Thatcatisdrivingmenuts · 19/02/2023 22:12

Baked beans. I like normal pulses in tins or in packets, though.

Thatcatisdrivingmenuts · 19/02/2023 22:13

(It's that disgusting orange sauce).

thedogsmum · 19/02/2023 22:13

Porridge, so slimey and yuck

MichaelFabricantWig · 19/02/2023 22:15

Porridge
hot chocolate
jelly

OnTheRunWithMannyMontana · 19/02/2023 22:18

Porridge and weetabix. The texture makes me gag.

TheDutchHouse · 19/02/2023 22:19

Eggs ... chickens periods

DilemmaDelilah · 19/02/2023 22:19

Lots of things.... But in particular, peanut butter. Love peanuts but can't stand peanut butter.

Fallulah · 19/02/2023 22:19

Salad cream
Any of the ‘old fashioned’ foods that my OH loves - corned beef, sandwich spread, crab paste, tongue, bacon grill. 🤢

cleowasmycat · 19/02/2023 22:20

BigFishontheTelly · 19/02/2023 20:37

Bananas make me gag.

Same, I would ban them from the universe

Bitteralmond · 19/02/2023 22:21

Sultanas, large pieces of cooked onion, cooked egg white (unless in meringue), liver, cooked tomato skin.

DatasCat · 19/02/2023 22:23

Tinned rice pudding. Can’t bear the texture. And for similar reasons, pearl barley (the sort of thing they put in soup) and any meat fat that hasn’t been thoroughly rendered and crisped up. I’m also a bit odd with Bird’s type custard (custard made from fresh with cream and real vanilla is an exception). I never recovered from the sight of great vats of school custard with the dried congealed lumps around the rim.

My favourite bit, I love cooling it to a good skin and then peeling it off.

chronictonic · 19/02/2023 22:27

I eat and enjoy basically everything but one thing I cannot abide: Jelly. Especially with bits of fruit suspended in it. So wrong.

Wincarnis · 19/02/2023 22:27

Eggs
Cheese sauce (cheese on its own is fine)
Seafood (but fish is fine)
Nuts
cake
instant hot chocolate drinks

EwwSprouts · 19/02/2023 22:28

Mayonnaise - why is it in every shop sandwich?
Smell of hot milk incl custard etc.
Dried fruit (except mango) so don't put them in scones, curries, tagines and all the xmas foodstuffs.

Lordofthebutterfloofs · 19/02/2023 22:28

Avocado. Why is it somehow, crunchy, yet soft and slimy?

Tinned/jar hotdogs

FoxtrotOscarFoxtrotOscar · 19/02/2023 22:29

Tuna in all its forms
Liver, a filter for piss
Watermelon, horrible texture but love the smell
Veal, looks like human flesh
