Anyone had their £200 additional oil/LPG/off grid payment yet?

I had heard they'd be paid from 6th February. Had my £67 electricity payment as usual today from EDF but not the additional £200. We are in a village with no gas supply so should be on the lists that were supposed to have been supplied to the energy companies. Hope we're not going to have to wait until 9th March now as my oil tank is getting low. I only bought 500 litres (instead of 1000) last time as I was hoping the payment would come through before that ran out.

I'd forgotten about the payment until seeing this thread. We're on LPG and are with Octopus for electric. Have just checked the account and it was paid on the 14th Feb although we've received no notification about it.

@Netaporter E.On next are honestly the absolute worst. I’m not even going to start on why I hate them but the reasons are numerous.

Just checked my Octopus account and there’s a £200 payment showing as pending for the 1 March, phew

Martin Lewis is asking on Twitter for people to let him know if they have not received the money for the AFP.

@WeAreBorg if I ever win the euro millions I am going to employ someone whose job will be solely to call utility companies, credit card companies, courier companies and my bank (who’ll likely be all over me like a cheap suit after my multimillion £ win 😂) they are all universally shite and no amount of HRT can reduce the utter rage I get from having to deal with them. The person I employ cab name their price. It’ll be worth it.

Not read through whole thread but I chased EDF again today as they kept telling me I would receive the payment, if eligible by the end of February. Still not received on 1 March. Now told I would receive it within the week, if eligible. They do not answer my question on how they will know I am eligible. Thinking of raising a complaint as there has been no communication from them just me chasing since mid February.

We didn’t get any notification from Eon, but when we sent a meter reading it came off the bill.

Scottish power sent a notification about ten days ago.

I'm with Scottish Power (Hertfordshire) and got my payment a week ago.
Oil heating here, no mains gas

Still nothing from Eon. They've sent me a link to the Gov Uk page which says applications open early March but checking it daily and still seems you can't do it yet!

Having thought the money was getting credited to my electricity account turns out not. So I’ve also applied via the link and will join the six week wait!

I heard back from Eon.............. apparently they haven't been made aware by the DWP that I am eligible for the AFP, so contact DWP. Anyway have filled in the gov uk form and will await payment in about 6 weeks.

We have no gas supply around here, what is odd is that all my neighbours in the same Post Code who use oil/LPG but with different energy suppliers have received the payment 😕

Here in NI we all households are getting the £200 as the vast majority of houses use heating oil. It was too complicated and also not cost effective to work who was eligible or not eligible apparently. I got ours end January and it also included the £400 which we ate only getting now. It was through NI Power who we getbour electric from and £600 was paid into our bank account as we pay by DD.

There have been cases of people who were to get vouchers when enquiring why they hadn't received theirs to be told it had already been cashed. They have to be cashed or paid into a bank account at a Post Office. Photo ID and utility bill with correct address is needed. I have read that some had theirs taken by their landlords how true that is I couldn't say.

I’m just off a chat with OVO (extremely unhelpful) saying it could be up to 23/6/23 it could be received. I quoted their website at them where it says OVO will be in touch in Feb but I haven’t heard anything. They said it would be the government who would be in touch (contradicting their website) they then closed the chat on. So I will be complaining about that later on. I took screenshots but not impressed as the previous person said it would be a few days after 1/3. So who even knows.

The council rang me today and said my energy provider should have sorted it. Which they didn’t of course, so that was helpful ffs
