What random (and unimportant) task would you win a gold medal in?

Totally light-hearted.

What random (non-sporty) thing would you win a gold medal in, if it was added to the Olympics?

Mine would be changing nappies with the fewest number of wipes. DH would come last in this category 😂

Making a bed with 2 sheets, 4 pillowcases and a king sized duvet without having to call for help.

Worrying

Finding my way to places I've never been to before. I look at Google maps the night before, and memorise the route, then the next day drive straight there. DH gets lost going places he's been multiple times while using a satnav!

Speed nappy changing (I work with small kids).

Making up words to existing songs that fit and rhyme and perfectly (eg. Wash, wash, wash your hands instead of Row, row, row your boat).

Writing posts on social media for other people.
They become incredibly popular.
Mine...meh....

Cutting in (painting in straight lines without masking tape)

Untangling wry tangled knitting yarn, and rolling it into a neat ball.

Having clean bins

Signalling when driving. Oh and scanning my own shopping. Secretly I think other people are often impressed by my doing these 2 things so well.

Cleaning fiddly things , I hate house work but give me a gunky coffee machine, limescale on taps , door seals in fridges , phone charge sockets etc and I am there with cocktail sticks and cotton buds

I can take the staples out of the wall the quickest.

Elbows for me. Sometimes forehead. Not tried with my nose!

Using a keypad to enter multiple long numbers into a pc without looking (niche).

Doing the Duolingo task that involves matching English words with their translation at speed.

Finding things in the house
Lyrics to songs, even years later but can’t remember how to do stuff on the computer 5 minutes after being shown.
Patience, I can win a gold in the marathon in endless patience.

Christmas fridge Tetris. Only useful once a year, but when I’m done there’s so
much food in such a small space you wouldn’t get a slice of wafer thin ham in there. Then I have to guard said fridge until the food runs down a bit, in case someone takes something out and none of it fits back in again 🙄

Oh now this makes me envious

Procrastinating

Spotting a spelling mistake at 100 yards.

Adding up on an old fashioned adding machine (think - the ones with the rolls of paper) super fast without looking at the keys.

I use my chin

Apostrophes.

Parallel parking

And I can always find the end of the sellotape

My husband is amazing at coming up with new words to existing songs, he can rhyme anything and it makes sense. Me, not so much.

Procrastination

I'm really good at kicking over cups of tea. And despite knowing I have a particular talent for this, I still keep putting them on the floor by the sofa, relatively near to my feet.

Rota management (a very tiny and entirely unremunerated part of my job, but I am good at it and have therefore had a load of other rotas dumped in my lap).

Untangling threads/wool. I found a shell wind chime thing like this at DMs, and spent several hours detangling it. So satisfying.
