Jack Monroe flounced from Twitter - Again

This time it looks like she was caught out in regard to addiction faking.

She posted a photo claiming they were of her recovery chip thingies and it was noted that 1 of them was for Cocaine Anonymous and another was for Narcotics anonymous.

She'd denied cocaine use earlier.

Early January she was in the Guardian saying she'd blown to s of donated money on Drink, tramadol and Cotswolds sideboards.
Seems the oddities of her stories are catching up with her.

Curious case of honest mistakes of someone who does good?
Or a devious chancer that's raking in as much as 30k a month of other people's money for doing nothing?

I think there is always a lot of interest in people who lie to make a living
Most people are honest and it rubs them up the wrong way
JM and MM are past masters of this line of work

I can't believe she's back today and bragging about giving stuff away.

Her life is funded by Patreon, so it was likely bought with other peoples money that was handed to her, but she's the hero for giving it away.

Soooo much stuff. Decluttering for 7 years? I have 2 pieces of furniture in my bedroom. 2. A bed and a chest of drawers. Because I have £10 left over per week (not a begging thread, I will freecycle what I want rather than need). There is a big gap between my idea of poor and theirs.

Not just a Christian.... Bit a baptised at the baptist church, worship leading, Sunday school teacher, pope, vicar, Christ reborn...

It's all the same with her. Everything she does is better than whomever suggests it. Shes always done anything someone suggests. Always been where.someone suggests.

She said the other day she has been suicide watch by her friends and family for the last 2 months. However she also says she is in sole care of a child and making out they are having a great half term.
She’s a horrible person.

She did. It was a clear case of mistaken identity and Katie didn’t even turn up to court. It was an open and shut case. She uses this as some kind of example that she is a legal expert.

Last year she said she was going to sue 30p Lee and took an undisclosed amount of donations for this into her private PayPal. Many months later nothing has happened. Apparently courts expect you to do things in a timely manner, she will soon run out of time to sue him.
To me this all seems like fraud.

The libel was a clear case of mistaken identity. KH confused her for Laurie Pennie. Jack Monroe was also given some robust criticism in the judges verdict, namely that she had apparently deleted the ‘threatening messages’ that she received as a result of the libel.

KH is unpleasant..

But, as others say up there, it was mistaken identity.

She didn't take it seriously enough and didn't even turn up to court. The judge awarded JM 30k that's all. But they also had KH pay costs, that was what necessitated selling one of her houses.

Jack likes to pull this out when the questions get hard to answer.. the 100% track record.. 1 win out of 1 against an opponent who was barely even playing properly.

In the judgement, which is public, it was revealed that Jack deletes tweets, has lots of socks and has an addiction to twitter. It was not the slam dunk Jack tries to make out, it was scathing in actuality.

The threat to sue Lee was just a big beg. Like when she solicited donations to fix her website. Nothing happened but she pocketed the cash. I don't know how she gets away it but a fool and his money and all that.
She's a scammer who preys on people who think they are doing good by supporting her. Because SHE does so much good. Like what, exactly ? Tweets all day, that's what. Big deal.

She also took a photo in a disabled toilet she was using and named where she was. Even though she complains about people finding where she is.

Yes, I saw she claimed that people were sharing her address on twitter and collecting flat addresses to try to track her next one.

Out of curiosity I had a look but can't find any evidence of her address having been published or anyone discussing anything about it, let alone this community of trolls she says are distributing this info.

I've never seen her address either.
She mentions where she lives a lot though, how far Asda is and where Lidl is and Southend etc etc.

It wouldn't take much to figure out once you see all her photos of different bits of house and garden.

She should stop sharing so much all the time.

Cam of worms perhaps but the using the disabled toilet thing seems more than a little performative when nothing other than unconfirmed claims actually suggest she can't use the ordinary toilet.

Hmm. Had she played chess for the county she would have a rating. DP has just looked up her likely childhood surname on the BCF database and there's no rating. He says that's not definitive because he doesn't have access to the full thing so can't search by other terms.
