Ideal would be 21. Actual is 19. Heating is on for a couple of hours in the morning and the same in the evening.

Oakbeam · 03/02/2023 15:02

16 but it’s in the hall which is cold. The rest of the house is warmer.

SheilaFentiman · 03/02/2023 15:02

but our house is old and usually never reaches it.

YellowAndGreenToBeSeen · 03/02/2023 15:03

Currently set to kick in if the temperature hits 16. I’ll change it to hit 19 around 5pm.

ifonly4 · 03/02/2023 15:03

18c. Used to be 18.5c but turned down to 18c when boiler was in high use in December and have struck with that.

xogossipgirlxo · 03/02/2023 15:04

18 at night, 19.5 during the day and we increase the temperature as we fancy

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 03/02/2023 15:04

18 degrees if doing something, 20 degrees if just sitting and reading etc.

Trinifriedchicken · 03/02/2023 15:04

17 during the day, 20 in the evening.

NewBootsAndRanty · 03/02/2023 15:09

21 in the day, 18 overnight.

yikesanotherbooboo · 03/02/2023 15:11

18
Heating on for a few hours morning and evening. I've never had upstairs radiation or heating at night but if it is very cold we light a fire in the evening.

Lcb123 · 03/02/2023 15:13

ours is off by default - don’t have heating on timer. If we feel cold (after layers / blankets) we might put it on at 16/17 for a bit. That’s fine for us!

Comefromaway · 03/02/2023 15:15

It's set at 19 (located in the hall away from the door/window). The TRV's on the rads are set at 3.5 in the rooms that we use (living room and bedrooms) and 2 in the dining room.

ZZTopGuitarSolo · 03/02/2023 15:17

17.5 in the day although with the wood stove going it’s warmer than that downstairs.

It’s currently -15 outside and going down to -30 tonight. Bit nippy.

SignOnTheWindow · 03/02/2023 15:18

We've gradually got used to it as temps started dropping in September. Last year I felt cold at 18, but we just can't afford the bills.

Wolfcub · 03/02/2023 15:22

14 degrees

sanityisamyth · 03/02/2023 15:24

Don't have one as have electric heaters (not switched on). Flat temperature varies from 9-12 degrees. The last week or so it has warmed up so I've been able to open the windows again!

Clusterfunk · 03/02/2023 15:25

16, down to 13 at night. Our house leaks heat so we are trying to sort that out but won’t turn the heating up regardless. We had it on 18 last year but we’ve adapted.

TattyDevine · 03/02/2023 15:31

23, which makes it around 20-21 degrees in the colder rooms of the house.

Krakenes · 03/02/2023 15:34

16 day and 14 night. Have a very old leaky house. When my husband is at home he likes to turn it up to 19, so I’m having to constantly turn it down!!

HiccupHorrendousHaddock · 03/02/2023 15:34

17.5 when we’re around and awake, 14 when we’re out or asleep.

Any lower than 14 stresses the vivarium settings and the tropical fish tank temperatures. Didn’t anticipate a fuel crisis when we set those up many years ago 🙄

orangegato · 03/02/2023 15:39

It’s not, as I won’t pay it. Cost about a tenner before I get any warmth as previous owners installed uncontrollable underfloor heating and the house is a very open plan bungalow. Whacking a space heater or leccy blanky on if I’m cold.

Unikeko · 03/02/2023 15:42

12°, warmest room gets to about 17° on a good day.

TheRookie · 03/02/2023 15:43

Set to 17 during the day with a boost to 21 at 7am-9am, and 5.30pm-9pm, completely off during the night unless it goes below 10'. If we are all home during the day which is rare, I'll put it on for an hour after lunch if it's chilly
