Power ballads - which do you like and dislike

Like: We've Got Tonight by Bob Seger
All I Have by Beth Nielsen Chapman
I Want To Know What Love Is by Foreigner

Dislike: I Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith
Wind Of Change by Scorpions

I'm not a big fan of this musical genre, I admit. That's probably why my list is so small. I especially think it's weird hearing rock and metal bands doing them. It's like Foster and Allen singing Highway To Hell.

I had Toto “Hold the Line” as our wedding song. We waited 14 years to get married so I thought it was apt.
People still message me if it ever gets played on the radio. ( Weirdly it was on Radio 2 the morning of the wedding)

I love the Aerosmith one! I have been known to have had slightly more wine than is sensible and been seen in our local bar standing on a chair leading the whole bar singing to that <blush>.

I also love anything ballad-y that Whitney does. My god she could belt ‘em out.
