Don’t know if anyone has followed this, but she had an arrest warrant issued today for failing to appear in court for breaching a restraining order he has for domestic abuse. Their poor children seem like an afterthought.

This thread is a good example of why you can never just believe someone when they say they are abused. Abuse has lost its meaning when posters are saying this is a case of Ioan abusing Alice, and that she is the victim and he is an abuser.

Absolutely you see it said on here all the time, that when the husband has lined up his newer, younger model and wants a new life, the history of the marriage it totally rewritten to portray the wife as horrible, not happy for years, etc so he doesn't look like a bastard and IG did have a reputation to keep. Didn't he do an interview shortly before they split singing AE's praises?

I thought his issue with not taking his daughter to a theme park was horrible as well. If his new girlfriend had a medical condition and he was so worried about her immune system, he could have taken his DC on a fun day out of their choosing (hadn't he not seen them for months at that time?) and stayed away from his girlfriend for a few days afterwards until he got a Covid test? Surely his gf could have coped not seeing him for a few days so he could spend time with his DC? Anyway his DC could have picked up Covid from school or actives etc so that didn't make sense at all.

IIRC IG has been away for a few years working in Australia and according to AE refused to come home when Covid struck. She said something about finding him a flight. Odd he wouldn't want to get home to his DC when a world wide wide pandemic hit with all the fear of the unknown that created. Obviously something was keeping him in Oz if that was true. He said he wanted to end the marriage after that I think.

I haven't read the court papers but was there anything water tight in his description of her being abusive before he ended the marriage or was it her behaviour afterwards and very few people behave well when they feel they've been betrayed. Obviously anyone is free to end a marriage if they're unhappy but expect some comeback if you're going to blow your kids world up, they're going to have to come out of a school they've been happy in and to lose their home.

If the prenup is as stated, the house would have had to be sold anyway, even without the public drama that has allegedly ruined IGs reputation so he's not getting roles, from the sounds of it.

That could have been largely avoided anyway if his girlfriend hadn't felt the need to post that inflammatory picture while IG was going through a messy breakup, crowing that she was the one making him smile again! Didn't his DC make him smile? Very odd caption and obviously desperate to finally make their relationship public. Was it necessary to make it public though? AE said she'd had her suspicions and I'm sure IG knew that so just why?

At that point I only remembered IG from Liar and AE from Vampire Diaries but I can imagine her distress at knowing she was fucked financially from the pre-nup and not working as both parents couldn't be flying all over the world to be on set for months so she'd given up her own career while he buggered off into the sunset.

I don't believe women should shut up and put up for the sake of the DC (not a good example for them at all) as seems to be the general consensus if they think their husband has royally shafted them so I kind of admired her for speaking out but also I don't think she's doing herself any favours now and she's in danger of losing custody of her girls completely.

It's a great shame as she could have done a chat show or something for women in her situation of the back of the media interest if she'd been a bit canny but I can imagine self esteem would have made that difficult.

he was away filming before covid struck. Alice freaked out that he might get stuck there and absolutely humiliated him by gunning down the entire production via email and spam calls demanding they stop production and fly home the lead actor (Ioan) immediately. He did fly back home but not as quickly as she would have liked. She said he seemed really unhappy when home, and stressed about the production and was quite depressed but then went back to normal. Although during this time she continued to fight with people on social media, threaten to kill’s herself on twitter, tweeted and called him a pussy, took photos of him asleep to post online and he kept begging her to stop.

at this time Alice was DEEP into anti trump twitter. She would stay up all night tweeting about trump and politics and getting into rows and also a nasty parking dispute that was filmed and put on YouTube.

He later went back to Aus to finish briefly and then came back, and told her then that he didn’t feel the same about her anymore. During the time he was away, she was also threatening to hurt herself and asking for a divorce. They then limped on for a few more months after he told her he was unhappy, and went to therapy. During therapy, he asked her to calm down her social media a bit and stop being horrible about his mother. she told him that his mother was the entire problem and refused to admit she needed to do anything different. Ioan decided to go sober and have therapy on his own. He then decided to go through with the divorce, collaboratively. He carried on going to her house every day until he couldn’t handle it anymore. Alice was incredibly unpleasant to Ioan in plain sight of all her followers, whilst apparently being blissfully married to her ‘best friend’ and blindly didn’t notice she had become a person he found unpleasant, being so embroiled in twitter and arguments. She has deleted some of the things that used to be on twitter and Instagram but I remember seeing them and she was always going too far, and being mean. She is a bully

These threads are so frustrating, however I take great satisfaction in knowing that as angry as Alice riles her minions up to be, it won't make a difference before the law. She has already has her derriere handed to her with the Restraining Order for Domestic Violence, she is about to be formally charged with a crime.

Nobody's saying he ought to have stayed with her, but I will never ever buy into that narrative of "we were so happy" - unless she was so out of touch with reality, there is no way she didn't realize how unhappy he was. She was banking on him toughing it out, he decided otherwise. That's what pisses her off

All this because she felt entitled to never have to work again 😂 and she will probably end up with no spousal support, no money from the divorce and a shattered reputation.

You really just need to give Narcs enough rope. In their haste for revenge, they often get caught up in it themselves.

Both. She hit him but mostly verbal, pretty badly. He has videos and texts and emails. His first court document for the DVRO was quite upsetting tbh

It’s also clear that she was unhappy in the marriage long before the split. She told him he was pathetic, his career was going down the pan, no one would employ him, he was losing his looks, that she was going to get her children ‘a new daddy’ (she said this to the children) long before he initiated the actual split.

Which is where she has landed. She won’t get spousal support because her decision to take him down resulted in a Domestic violence finding. The criminal charges seal it. He can’t get work and his future career at McDonald’s won’t compete with her daily Mail income of £40k or so for selling stories about him.

She's not a logical person, if she loses the kids and the house she doesn't care because it makes her look like the ultimate victim. She's doing scorched earth now. To be honest I don't understand why she wanted to marry him and sign that prenup she was a very striking lady in her younger days even aged 40. She could have easily met a rich older man she was with Picassos grandson for years before Ioan. I do think she genuinely loved him as no one in their right mind would sign that.

Eugh I dislike both of them both seem selfish and not interested in their kids.

The restraining order has been in place for ages and that didn’t stop her before. However now she’s been arrested for breaching the order and is potentially facing prison, hopefully she’s starting to learn her lesson.

Actually I think Alice is awful and needs to shut up for the sake of her children. The only people I feel for in this saga are the children who have no control and cannot leave the situation they are in.

I've read the court documents Alice is a very selfish nasty piece of work still doesn't mean Ioan is perfect. He hasn't put his children first he puts Bianca first as evidenced by his messages.

No one has said he is perfect. Of course he isn't perfect, no one is. However Alice is abusive to both her kids and Ioan.

Biance is 30, she is a grown adult woman who can make her own choices in life. She was diagnosed with MS in Oct 2018 - she didn't make up her illnesses and the Alice fan club trying to discredit her just looks Alice look even worse.
