After 7 years of trying I have just found out I am pregnant

I decided to do a test today and thought I was probably being stupid and getting my hopes up but there it was after over 7 years of ttc it was positive.
I have of course done another 2 tests just to be sure 😂

Eek I just needed to tell someone. Husband is on a late shift and not home for at least another hour!

37 weeks today. Can’t believe we’ve made it to full term. I must say I’m not loving the heatwave 😂

The time has gone so quickly - probably not for you - and it won’t be long until you will be giving your lovely baby lots and lots of cuddles.

I'm guessing that at 37+1 you finished work today!
I remember hemming nursery curtains on my first due date, putting everything away when I was finished and realising that I had nothing to do at all until the baby came.
Don't be me. Make plans, do stuff, have coffee out with chums, get a facial. Book a day at a time but do not put your life on hold for 2 weeks!
I wish you the best of everything: a swift but not too swift labour; pain relief that stops you hating the experience but doesn't stop you being in the moment; a spouse that doesn't pass out or vomit if someone whips out a needle and syringe; a healthy baby that gives you a pain like a medicine ball in the middle of your sternum when you watch them sleeping because your heart never knew so much love; and the best 2 slices of buttered toast (ask for butter) you ever ate when they take you to the ward.

Aw thank you. I have an induction booked for later this week on due date due to some complications so hoping he will be born by the weekend fingers crossed!
My mind is kind of blown we will have an actual little person soon!

Good luck! Hope they have the issue well in hand. Don't hesitate to go to the hospital if you have any problem before the set date.
