After 7 years of trying I have just found out I am pregnant

I decided to do a test today and thought I was probably being stupid and getting my hopes up but there it was after over 7 years of ttc it was positive.
I have of course done another 2 tests just to be sure 😂

Eek I just needed to tell someone. Husband is on a late shift and not home for at least another hour!

Oh what lovely news. I think there really needs to be more research into the link between psychology and the physical responses of the body.

I know of a number of people who have fallen pregnant after either giving up or starting the process for IVF (but before treatment has started).

I sometimes wonder if the technology and knowledge which allows us to track cycles, ovulation and everything else helps or hinders (clearly it has a purpose but just musing the potential wider impact and that you once you have certain knowledge you can’t not think about it)
