Karcher Window Vac

Morning, does anyone have one of these especially for dealing with window condensation in the mornings?

Is there a particular model you would recommend?

Are they easy and quick to use?

Grateful for any info before purchasing or not!

Watching! I've just put dehumidifier on though room levels are not high cos I got a monitor.

Brand new windows seems to have major condensation issue now. If I leave the vents open though it's freezing!

Yes, they're great. I can't tell you which model we have because it's over 10 years old, but probably the most basic one. It works sideways and sucks a huge amount up. One charge lasts a couple of days usually (lots of windows)

Yes and it's brilliant. We use it on the windows in the morning and after we shower. It's quick and easy to use.

Bought the karcher window vac last year (about £50) and its fantastic. Use it on windows, the shower inc tiles, kitchen cabinets and mirrors all are streak free and take seconds.

We have one. I think it’s just the most basic model. I don’t have a problem with window condensation but can see it would be ideal. It’s likely to leave a few streaks but not too bad if the windows are reasonably clean.
I got ours about 5 years ago on Black Friday.

Used every day in this house-ours is about 5 years old. For condensation you'll probably still need a soft cloth for when you get to the window seal but v easy and quick. Even with dehumidifier we get a bit of condensation because I have blinds and thick curtains.

We have one, no idea which model but it would be the most basic.

Does an excellent job and clears the windows instantly, no streaks etc.

We have the one that was about £50 and came with attachments, we don't use it for windows in the morning as no need but we do for showers after we've used them / they need cleaning and it's amazing! Definitely worth it.

I've had one for years it's great. Use it to suck water off tiles after showering - not a single spot of black mould on my shower. I don't get much condensation on windows but I imagine it would also be great for that.

Do use it when I'm cleaning windows too - helps with a streak free finish, though I use a polishing cloth too.

In short - its excellent, get one.

Another thumbs up from me. We have two, one of which is probably the oldest, most basic model going, and they're both excellent.

We need to use them to remove condensation from our ancient, single glazed windows virtually every morning in Autumn and Winter and we really couldn't be without them.

Most times I use them, I despair of the time it would take me to deal with the windows if some clever soul didn't invent then!

I’ve got a wv5 but they all do the same job. I didn’t even think to use it in my car! I do all the windows in my house and it is super easy to use, bit of streaking but I can wipe that off with a cloth.

Omg I love ours! It sucks all the water off the massive sash windows each morning. I also use it to clean mirrors and the shower doors.

it’s the Wv1 model. The only negative is if you have small panes of glass you have to turn it sideways because the blade is too wide, and sometimes water dribbles out. And it needs charging fairly frequently.

Brilliant bit of kit. Get the most basic one. Although they were out of stock in the last cold spell.

I recently bought a non-karcher one from screw fix, so far so good! The kids were doing it just this morning. So satisfying pouring that water away 😄

Not sure what model mine is but it’s a godsend. We get a lot of condensation on the windows in the cold weather and it does an amazing job in no time. The bottle bit could be a bit bigger but hardly worth complaining about! Get one, you won’t regret it.

I've had mine for more than 10 years. I got it when it first came out. Its absolutely fantastic. I wouldn't be without it. Basic model. WV1. You can get a smaller head attachment for smaller panes.

There are no negatives really for something fairly cheap. Gets up water spills ok too.
