Where are my jeans???!!!

Help! They were my pre-pregnancy jeans that I found among a pile of clothes I was sorting, tried them on and they fitted again. I was so pleased. Wore them once and now I can't find them - it's driving me mad - I want them for Saturday. I have looked -

Through ALL of my clothes, all of them.
In all drawers/wardrobes
In the laundry basket
Through every item of clothing downstairs (randomly dumped jumpers, etc)
Under beds
Behind pieces of furniture
In the ironing pile
In the airing cupboard

I remember coming upstairs to take them off in the early evening. But I CANNOT find them. Please, please, please help!

You need to stop and retake the steps you took when you last saw them.
You know you took them off early evening. You knew you wanted them for tomorrow, did you think 'these need a wash'. If you did, what would you do next? Gather up a load straight away and take to the machine. I know when I'm collecting laundry I walk from room to room. When I do that I often see something in a room that needs doing so put the laundry down. Check wash baskets in other rooms. Take everything out and go through each item 1 at a time. If inside out they might look different. Check washing machine, then anywhere you dry clothes or ironing pile.

I have not found them! But there hasn't been time to comb every inch of every room yet. I have a free day tomorrow so I'll be back in the hunt again!

I did try on some jeans but the whole fit wasn't right for me 😞 It's going to be tough finding a flattering pair in the right length and a big enough waist to accommodate a serious post-section tummy! Dd is only 8 weeks old.

I have not found them! I'm still harbouring a bit of hope but I've also bought another pair from Vinted.

But no clothes or anything similar has been thrown out! It's literally just the kitchen bin and the recycling stuff. Very little has left this house.

Side note - my jeans from Vinted arrived and they're fab - but stink of smoke 🤮 I've washed them and hung them outside so fingers crossed the smell will have gone.
