Where are my jeans???!!!

Help! They were my pre-pregnancy jeans that I found among a pile of clothes I was sorting, tried them on and they fitted again. I was so pleased. Wore them once and now I can't find them - it's driving me mad - I want them for Saturday. I have looked -

Through ALL of my clothes, all of them.
In all drawers/wardrobes
In the laundry basket
Through every item of clothing downstairs (randomly dumped jumpers, etc)
Under beds
Behind pieces of furniture
In the ironing pile
In the airing cupboard

I remember coming upstairs to take them off in the early evening. But I CANNOT find them. Please, please, please help!

I did actually check the bed earlier! No joy.

Haven't thrown any clothes away.

Wherever you keep going back to, because you’re sure that’s where they should be. Just look harder in that spot.

Have you checked everyone's drawers/cupboards?

My favourite t shirt ended up in ds's t shirt drawer, I was absolutely sure I'd lost it

Did you put them on a hanger then put a jumper on the hanger hiding them?

Inside a duvet cover?

This, or did you hang them on a dressing gown hook on the back of a door and then hang a dressing gown over them?

Airing cupboard between towels?

They are in your wardrobe hiding ounder another pair of jeans of similar colour.

Sounds bizarre, but

One of my dogs used to steal dirty laundry and hide it 🤣🤣 socks, tops, jeans, you name it if it smelt like us - she was claiming it 🙈🤣

I've looked and double checked the places it could be again. I've been through every drawer of mine and of DH and both children.

Dog hasn't taken them. Not hung up (checked every hanger), not on the back of the door.

This is perplexing me!

Washing machine
tumble dryer
kicked under a bed

Folded inside another item of clothing?

Have you got long curtains? Hidden underneath those?

Could you of accidentally thrown them out? Have you had a clear out of stuff recently?

Check your wardrobe, look at every item hung up, could there be 2 pairs of bottoms on one hanger?

If in drawers, take one whole drawer out completely and check they haven't gone down behind

Mixed in with a pile of bath towels

Could they be inside out which is making them look a different colour?

Hung under another pair of jeans, probably in DH’s wardrobe.
Or fallen down off the hanger in among the shoes in the bottom of the wardrobe?

I lost a pair of leggings a while back, I flipped the whole house upside down trying to find them

Eventually found them when changing my end - they were inside a duvet cover that had been folded and put away!

Do you hang jeans or fold them?

If hung, they are on a hanger with another pair.

If folded, they are with your jumpers and other bigger items.

But, in your current hunt, did you find anything else that you had been looking for before and couldn't find. That is what usually happens.

Not much looking going on thanks to fussy baby! I haven't checked inside the duvet cover! I can't imagine how they would have got there, but worth a look 👍

Remove all the drawers from your chest of drawers and check inside the empty chest. That’s where all my missing items end up.
