Such as "Give my head a wobble" and "Holibobs", neither of which I have ever heard IRL.

OP posts:

"What is the point of him?" when a poster has a relationship issue, like that one issue defines the entire relationship.

Wishimaywishimight · 13/01/2023 13:44

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them.' Trotted out daily, just lazy.

Life admin- so much to do, like "sorting out new car insurance/mot/booking gas safety check". These are things you do once a year and they take 5 minutes.

I mostly see "life admin" as an excuse for not working/working part time. The rest of us, single or partnered, parent or not, just get on with life without pretending it's an administrative job.

ODFOD.
So rude!

Oh god, I forgot about ODFOD. It sounds like something Hyacinth Bucket would say if she developed a bad case of potty mouth.
And just to confirm, I'm using the term 'potty mouth' in an ironic way coz that's another horrible phrase🤮

Cuppasoupmonster · 13/01/2023 13:45

Oh and suggesting everyone is ND or has autism. As in literally everyone.

TheMildManneredMilitant · 13/01/2023 13:50

Yes, that's true... If you don't want to work and can afford not to, then don't. Everyone has the same "life admin" 😅My favourite life admin task was researching doorbell camera on amazon. Yep, because it takes as much time as full time work😂

MaryDoll84 · 13/01/2023 13:54

Oooh another one.. when someone uses 'parent' as a verb. Like 'you need to learn how to parent your kid properly'. So high n mighty

Ubiquitous

I have seen this being used in loads of posts recently. I think I only notice how much, because it just bugs me.

I have never said nor heard this being used in daily conversation.

Inertia · 13/01/2023 14:36

“ Just been a little bit sick in my mouth”

Revolting.

RedRiverShore3 · 13/01/2023 14:42

Especially NHS is on its knees. It's not in bad state or badly organised. It's on its knees 😆

Wishimaywishimight · 13/01/2023 15:15

Soooo many people (and/or their DHs) working "very long hours" in "very stressful jobs".

Autumnnewname · 13/01/2023 16:12

Wishimaywishimight · 13/01/2023 13:36

People "screaming". I have never in my life screamed at anyone nor has anyone ever screamed at me. I always assume this translates to someone raising their voice a little.

Yes. I see it on here all the time

I rarely hear people scream in real life so I eventually assume they just mean to shout.

Which isn't screaming

"What is the point of him?" when a poster has a relationship issue, like that one issue defines the entire relationship.

Well, frequently it does. People in happy, stable, healthy and loving relationships don't tend to post on here because the husband forgot to get milk or something.

If he never does any housework or childcare, never gets up in the night, fucks off every weekend and talks to his wife like shit....what, indeed, is the point of him?

Kualma · 13/01/2023 16:29

LTB for every piece of relationship advice…

Sux2buthen · 13/01/2023 18:26

The script.
I've just seen this on a bloody loop,

Ha, I think I saw the same thread! Blooming irritating.
So I'd add people repeating the same thing that everyone else has already said a million times. What's the point?
