Covid should we BAN flights Etc From China?

I've tried to ignore the news but it's all over the media now and they are saying what I am fearing, ie
massive new and bigger wave of a new variant and back to square one

This, every government are careless and always act the horse has bolted.

At least if we banned flights direct/indirect people that have been in/to China, if anyhting new comes it could be better managed IMO

It's been bad in China for weeks now. Stop watching the news stop reading about it. Sooner everyone understands its here to stay the better, our life's are for living not hiding under a rock hoping the bad stuff disappears.

It's on the DM so, TBH, I would disagree on principle.

extra screening might be wise but I think removing all screening etc was perhaps not the best move anyway.

I'm so happy that finally something constructive has come out of a scaremongering thread. All these years I thought it was just me who hated coffee revels, and now I see there's actually a movement.

If the UK ban inbound direct/non-stop flights from Chinese destinations all that then happens is that passengers from those places will choose to travel non direct to get into the UK via e.g. the Gulf, Japan, Korea, Europe etc etc.....

I love coffee creams. I don’t think I’ve ever had coffee Revels (probably because no one else likes them) but I’d probably like them

My favourite are the orange, so I think we have the beginnings of a workable social order here.

Also, I have Covid at the moment so I’m perhaps feeling rebellious as I can’t be infected whilst infected … I do not want coffee-esque “treats” given to me though. That would be the final straw.
