Got my Asda one today,4 sensible subs no unavailable items.V pleased.

Sainsburys yesterday. Nothing missing. Quite a few substitutions but mainly bigger versions of the same item or very sensible substitutions. Very happy.

quite a few from my sainsburys order, nothing essential so DH has gone out to get the bits we would have preferred to have

2 Semi Skimmed Milk 6 Pint substituted with 4 4 pint
2 Clarence Court Mabel Pearmans's Burford Browns Large Free Range Eggs x10, substituted with 2 woodland free range and box of mixed weight cheap eggs which i sent back
6 Aubergine, substituted with 3 peppers and 3 aubergines
White Seedless Grapes substituted with red
Lime Juice 250ml, substituted with lemon
Chilli Lime Squid Rings substituted with Seafood Selection sent back
Feta Stuffed Rainbow Cherry Peppers 145g, substituted with Ricotta Stuffed Cherry Peppers

only 1 Trout Pate instead of 2
Pineapple Juice, substituted with Red Grape Juice sent back

last weeks order subbed a small tub of quality street with a big tin of it 😁

Really really impressed with my Sainsbury’s delivery yesterday! Everything came and everything had really good dates too.

Sainsbury's and Waitrose both last night. Everything there and only a couple of very sensible subs. One short dated posh mash - fine, have put it straight in the freezer. Not bad considering a total of £300 was spent (split across two households)

Waitrose due shortly and according to email this morning all present & correct

Tesco, everything arrived apart from leeks and crackers.

Only thing missing were the two kinder father christmas figures that I was going to put in the children's treasure hunt.

Picked up my Tesco order this morning, 6 substitutions, all sensible, so accepted.
Very happy with that. It was a bit chaotic at the click and collect but the staff were brilliant.

Missing most of the free from things I ordered unfortunately. Also the sweets and crisps I specifically chose for myself but everything available for the rest of the family so feeling a bit hard done by lol

My Waitrose order was only missing the Christmas summer pudding (sounds like a contradiction in terms) which was an extra. A bit disappointed. But hopefully will find a suitable alternative in-store tomorrow or this evening.

So today’s Ocado was not nearly so good as the last one.

Ordered nearly 3 months ago and yet they were out of stock of the Yule Log. 3 other things unavailable and 6 substitutions, some just brand swaps but others less appropriate.

So Waitrose got some extra custom this morning!

Did half from aldi and half from Tesco this year. Aldi (click and collect) had two unavailable items which were our Christmas dinner starter and dessert so had to get the same thing from M&S instead. Tesco is coming tonight, haven’t had the email with any substitutions as yet but I’m hoping there aren’t many because it’ll be a dash out tomorrow which I cba with!

Our Sainsbury’s order was delivered yesterday. All available, 6 sensible enough subs, but sent one back anyway (Mexican dips when we’d ordered classic dips).

Slightly irritated that some cabbage and cauliflower that was on the receipt didn’t make it into the house, but I’m sure it just ended up in someone else’s crate by mistake and they’ve refunded so no major issue. I will grab some this afternoon/evening when I get fresh bread anyway.

Yesterday, sainsbury, 12 subs, most sent back and two crates of food missing.
Got the missing items from morrisons last night.
As others have said, i had already bought frozen/longlife stuff like crackers, chocolates etc weeks ago

I did a huge Amazon Prime grocery shop. Only had to book it 2 days ago instead of weeks like most of the supermarkets. Free delivery. Very good price, about same as Asda but def cheaper than Sainsburys. Nothing missing and no subs.
My cousin got her delivery from Asda today, booked weeks ago. 8 items not available and 14 subs. Shes livid !

Two tubes of Smarties swapped for two tubes of Orange Smarties.

So not the end of the world.

They also gave me a packet of oatcakes, some cat food, fresh thyme and parsley which I didn't actually order.

Subs all ok from Tesco but one bad of frozen stuff arrived at room temp which is v bad.

It's due later but had the receipt.

No missing items but some subs.

1 cooked meat platter changed for an alternative one - fine
1l olive oil not coming, 500ml one due instead (why not two of them?)
Diet Coke cans has been changed to Pepsi Max
2 noodles of 2l bottles of Diet Coke changed to 2 bottles of 1.25ml Diet Coke - again, why not at least find the same quantity

Not too bad out of a massive order

Random pistachio ice cream that I didn't order was nice but doesn't make up for no bloody goose fat.

Missing 2/3 of my deserts
So many out if stock items/ subs (highly unusual from my experience) blamed on warehouse technical issues.

My Tesco delivery hasn't arrived yet but they have emailed across the receipt. 14 substitutions, some of which will have to go back, and 4 unavailable products.
It's a bit disappointing.

Sainsbury yesterday was really good - only sub worth mentioning was own brand cheese biscuits instead of Jacobs.

Our Tesco order arrived yesterday and most things arrived. All the party food, double cream, butter, veg & potatoes all arrived. The only thing that didn't was the streaky bacon and the finest custard. They subbed bacon rashers and normal Tesco custard. We'll survive.

The thing I'm most annoyed about is receiving the world's tiniest cauliflower imaginable. It's practically the size of a Brussels sprout. 😡
