Worst Christmas Toys Ever

You know, the ones which were advertised throughout December, and your children begged for them, and they were shite despite costing more than your monthly mortgage payment.

Which toys were the most disappointing in your house?

You had to turn a handle on the back of Mr. Frosty and iced lolly stuff was meant to come out of the front, into the little drawer in his tummy.

But the handle would not turn and generally fell off long before anyone had had their Christmas pudding.

Same here - but I always assumed that that was because I am not artistic.

Mine actually managed to weaponise these. It was carnage. Fucking fairies.

I had a sky dancer. It landed in my great grans cup of tea.

I’m lucky my children are still young (5&3) and I don’t let them watch TV with adverts - only CBeebies, Netflix/Disney+, YouTube with no adverts, so I’ve not yet had them asking for stuff that I know will not be as good as it looks.

Truly, you have missed nothing.

Just looking at that image of Mr. Frosty reminds me of how flimsy he was.

I note that he now costs £26.

Lol at these, we've had so many including the infamous chocolate coin maker and other assorted shite kids cooking type stuff.

Doggy doo was particularly awful though. Not only is it a plastic shitting dog which is grim at the best of times, but ours kept getting bunged up which meant we had to blow hard through its mouth to make the fake poo pop out the other end.

Tamagotchi things....we left it for weeks....it was covered in poo and we couldnt revive or reset it....so just left it in tears covered in poo....waste of £4.

Mr frosty was quite sturdy in the 80's. I enjoyed it. Bought my kid one recentky and so flimsy and the handle broke

Snow glow elsa. Absolute crock of shite.

Chocolate lolly maker. Pointless.

Now the older two are more tech orientated and my boy has his obsessions with dinosaurs and hot wheels is alot easier!!

I've just been to Argos today and bought my DD1 (aged 30 now!)a new Sky Dancer...
There are 8 of us plus a baby and toddler here for Xmas... let's see if it's still an eye-out fairy...
