So I've become addicted to Lie To Me. Started brilliant, ended up fucking ridiculous. I can see why season 4 didn't happen.
Like the mentalist - loved it, cried when he found Red John and killed him in the cafe. But no! They had to carry on and rewrite that.

Will & Grace - even before the reboot

Another mistake TV writers make.

In a show built around the relationship between 2 people, who aren't a dating, they need to stay that way. It always fizzles if they get together or, in this case as obvs Will is gay, get in other relationships.

It can't work, because we don't have the dynamic anymore
