So I've become addicted to Lie To Me. Started brilliant, ended up fucking ridiculous. I can see why season 4 didn't happen.
Like the mentalist - loved it, cried when he found Red John and killed him in the cafe. But no! They had to carry on and rewrite that.

Line of duty, I won’t post a spoiler but it was never ever him and I am very disappointed in Jed for even thinking he could pull that one over us. The first 5.5 series are some of the best tv I’ve ever watched. Second half of 6, I was so disappointed.

Veep. Started out really well and then it just got mean for no reason. Went downhill when Armando Iannucco stopped writing.

Mostly US series? Is it because each series has so many episodes? UK series generally have 6-8 episodes and maybe 4-6 series. The one that springs to mind that's definitely gone on too long is Call the Midwife.

So many of the series that are based on books seem to go off when they finish dramatising the books and start making stories up.

My absolute favourites, The West Wing and ER start to drag in the last 3 series or so.

Orange is the New Black. I LOVED it for the first few seasons and then... WTF?

I absolutely loved the OITNB that was set in the immigration centre, it was brilliant in a terrifying way.

I used to love Torchwood.

I'm still ploughing through Lie to Me but it's more hate watching now tbh.

Was going to say Lucifer too. Seasons 1-4 brilliant. Season 5 just fucking ridiculous. Season 6 recovered slightly but not enough.
